  1. Biggest winner is Electro, Losers are Geo & Physical, Geo just doesn’t care about elemental reaction, just raw Geo DMG, that’s why some people called it Physical but in Yellow/Gold colour lol, I think Geo is pretty much done, maybe future Geo characters with Geo construct like turrets that can shoot rocks

  2. The problem with hoyo upping the dmg ceiling and everything you said about geo is that it’s pointless.

If their not going to make any challenging content that rewards players for reaching these kinds of dmg ceilings and investing their characters to that point why bother?

Dendros impact on the game while it was big is immediately invalidated by the simple fact that outside of abyss these teams will never get to shine.

In order to truly justify buffing an element or doing anything of the sort there needs to be an incentive to go to those new heights such as new content that lets players mess around with these kinds of teams.

Problem being is that hoyo has taken their stance against this so there’s no point in them doing anything for geo.

At this point they’d rather push out pointlessly niche characters like dori and Candace along with pointlessly strong characters because they know that if you slap good looks on this or make them look pretty it’s a money machine.

  3. Don't count out Geo just yet…
With new Anemo chars coming out with Itto on the horizon… Who knows…
I get a reaction with Zhong Li when using my Archon team.
Nahida, Raiden, ZL, & Kazuha(don't have Venti yet)

  4. Before Nahida, one could also say hydro was the most benefited thanks to bloom-related reactions. It’s like an extra layer of damage + AoE capability to every single hydro unit. After Nahida it is undoubtedly electro. Nahida’s kit and her highest damage potential in spread made every electro unit benefit from both big aggravate and big spread damage. Our kid archon somewhat single-handedly carried two elements

  5. Geo is definitely the big loser considering Dendro wants reactions to do damage. Geo removes reactions. Even Anemo, the one that doesn't react with Dendro is winning because it still buff the other element that Dendro reacts to.

  6. I think sooner or later they will do something for Geo especially after how they didnt make much money of the last Albedo rerun, in the end that is their motivation to any change in the game: revenue. However since they are currently focused on marketing incoming new 5*s of whish seemingly none will be geo I d nto expect any changes. However the mroe times their geo banners will have horrid sales the bigger pressure it will create on them to change sth up …I personally d expect some changes to happen around Fontaine and as you said with some Nilou like characters…but only if NIlou actually sells on her rerun, if she fails to sell again I think they could potentionally just give up and rework the whole geo element coz if Nilou wont sell than a NIlou like geo character wont sell for sure.

  7. Lost a Nahida 5050 to my first Keqing and I consider it a blessing. She handles so well in a Dendro team. I didn't plan for her and literally threw a Lv70 Lions Roar and 3 lv 0 artifacts. 1 lv 8 EM and a Lv16 Electro gob, and she is trashing mobs with just Nahida and Barbara as support. I'm honestly shocked.

  8. Ooof. Hearing you say "Geo requires hyper investment $$$" kind of actually reinforces that Geo was the loser in this patch of reactions. I do think it would be interesting to get more Geo units in the future with passives that might create Geo interactions with the other elements but without that I can't see there being any reason for people other than mono-geo hyper investors to bother with it. In the line, I'm not sure there's a reason for Hoya to invest in creating more Geo characters without them introducing some kind of new interaction since the gameplay is becoming more and more focused on reactions. It would not make financial sense for them to build any more geo units for such a small percentage of their user base without introducing some kind of "bridge" talents.

  9. The big problem was from day one electro characters lacking elemental mastery scaling despite all of their reactions requiring elemental mastery to get full potential. I tend to use elemental mastery as often as critical stats. This community underestimates how important elemental mastery always has been. Now if only they give an elemental mastery scaling Geo damage dealer then shattering compositions could truly shine. Electros differ from cryo and Pyro in that they hit faster than Pyro and Cryo that is their clincher they also function around energy recharge. I find I enjoy overload, shattering, electro charged and it is elemental mastery that gives it power and level. Geo can for sure in future be given teams alongside cryo. Dendro, geo(elemental mastery scaling), cryo and hydro for sure would crush or shatter enemies. Damage is not all that matters and someday I do plan to see that. Geo can shatter not just crystalize but crystalized shards also benefit from elemental mastery fyi. Geo has 2 reactions factually, frozen targets can shatter when exposed to geo but it scales off of elemental mastery. How many geo characters utilize elemental mastery? How many claymore users actually scale off of elemental mastery? Elemental mastery is the modifier that increases reaction damage. If a character scales off of elemental mastery reaction damage is likely their focus not their raw damage. Cyno is a hybrid in terms of multipliers he can scale off raw and reaction damage and despite some disliking him he works amazingly he simply needs more characters to synergize with. I now have Yoimiya to pair with Yae Miko and I can say for sure overload with Yae and Yoimiya feels amazing honestly. I was never a fan of melt and vaporize as reactions because most cryo characters feel horrible to play imho. Each it's own but I am not a fan of quick swap teams that don't sustain applications. Geo gets misunderstood due to people not acknowledging the fact shattering exists. Shattering deals physical damage which means an elemental mastery scaling geo with physical damage will of course crush very abundantly and once mihoyo gives me that yeah if they have a good playstyle I shall be using that for sure. I lovd dendro especially Collei right now so I look forward to see how it plays out.

  10. How about something like if you generate a 3 crystals of the same element near each other it can explode and while not doing any damage it could release a sm area of effect that inflicts that element on nearby mobs. An example would be 3 hydro crystals could inflict wet status on those within range.

  11. I don't know about buffing geo through another character. it seems expensive and anxiety inducing. Crystallize should be revamped. I mean they buffed Hydro resonance, arguably the best element in the game, with the best characters and synergies. Heck even barbara, the worst among the hydro units is good. At this point, geo is a nonelemental element.

  12. Meanwhile Physical Centric Characters are dead deep in the pool nobody care about physical the only 3 "Viable" phyiscal char were razon and fsch then eula but let's be honest eula is just a waifu with tons of clickbait potential, poor razor boy was one of the favorites char for ppl in early game but not now when ppl know more about the game and fsch that she's one of the best electro support so there's no need for phsyical fschl anymore so, this poor element only have 2 viable options electro and cryo for the reaction and like for real xd u just need 2 char in a physical team and the rest are filler cryo and electro after that if u play eula u almost never use all the ult and is worst to use it and not crit with 70% crit rate, just saying they should add more stuff for this kind of team that really don't interact with almost anything and the only character viable for this are not that optimal, not gonna lie eula is my best waifu just don't use it a lot cause she's not that great for explore or in abbys (c0) she's just there being perfect looking hopes mihoyo adapt the other forgotten "meta" to the current game to be at least viable.

  13. I think the biggest user is a ctually physical aka Eula/xin yan. while geo may have reaction in the future if mihoyo wants i phyiscal can't by its nature not to mention that more and moer enemies are in the family of ruin guards which have high phyisical resistance inately. a small note on top of this physcial damage dealers havent gotten an update since eula

  14. I say Lore and realism are the biggest losers of this patch. The Lore that Hoyoverse did is downright unrealistic and instead of reacting in a realistic way, the characters react in a way that is "Oh. Forgiving and Forgetting is better than True Vengeance"
