  1. They should have kept it how it was before release. Action Adventure RPG with no gacha mechanics. I played for a few months when it came out and definitely noticed the horrible RNG drop rate for characters.

  2. Not gonna lie, game looks amazing. But I avoid anything Gacha like the plague. Not throwing my money away like this, no matter how good it looks, plays, reviews, etc… If it's your thing though, carry on and enjoy.

  3. genshin impact is a game where it could have been awesome game if it was just a one off story like botw or a souls like game, but no, we gotta employ these all manner of predatory tactics to keep revenue rolling in. i have an account which i'll prolly pawn off the moment i get a chance and some free time

  4. No, you want to lvl up new character that you're lucky enough to get by winning the 50/50 gamble?
Grind the mats for it oh wait you need to lvl up the skills as well and the new artifacts all of them need energies.

You're lucky enough to get zhongli, they added new enemy to counter him…

Just no it's going to get worse and worse

  5. Was playing since launch, but havent played since elden Ring dropped.

PROS: you get hundreds of hours of a quality game for free.
CONS: to get the character you want, you either need to play daily for around 2 months and save, or spent $100.

  6. For new players to join in now it’s not really recommended unless you really really wanne
They miss our way to much and are being pushed back with grinding to much it makes them feel they are not getting love and care from them dev

After finishing all main story quest and character quest the game becomes way to stale in content and becomes a
    -log in
    -do your dailies
    -use your resin
-(optional) collect and grind for character lvl up material or weapon
    -log out

Unless there is a event or new areas to explore or such you do almost nothing and are done within 30 minutes or less

    The gacha (Aka it’s gambling)
Pay 100-200$ for a chance to get that character (unless you have pity 50/50)
It’s rather recommended to f2p or buy blessings of moons as they are better , make the game feel ok or makes it worth paying a small bit for almost 20 pulls for nothing

    Grinding becomes much more harder
As you are required to be max lvl and high adventure rank to even do some making new players with characters from inazuma or such way yo difficult or even impossible to grind for

Not to mention that some bosses are Annoying and become more and more difficult to do you are required to get good character who could do dmg good (Ganyu as a example) and pray with rng artifacts to do even better dmg

In conclusion: don’t bother with genshin
Veteran or not genshin is not worth it
You will only dwell yourself down in to a toxic fan base who will go in a attack if you disrespect or do anything to offend them

It’s not worth buying and spending as you are making a excuse for yourself to gambling to get a chance for your waifu or husbando you want
I rather recommended you buy a other game and get more out of it then this

  7. Playing since release, I would say play it for two months and then quit. When you start, the game is fresh and it really is an amazing experience but that ends sooner or later(for me it was 2 months) after that it just becomes your regular gacha game with time gated stamina, the same boring daily chores, doing the same domains over and over again for good artifacts, absolutely insane achievements that require months to get depending on your luck but even then its still a pretty good/decent experience.
Once you've played enough you'll start noticing the cracks in the game, such as a lack of a end game content, how farming for artifacts is the worst thing in the game, unskippable dialog, terribly balanced characters, welkin being consumed if you dont log in for that day, triangulated aiming with bow characters, most charged shots with bow characters are useless anyway and such
And you'll reach a point where you're just logging in to get the gems for the new next character that you won't care about because you already have 30+ Lv80 characters

Its really frightening to recommend genshin even if just for the initial good bits due to the sunk cost that people might get for this game

  8. I've been playing Genshin since the game release (September 2020), have 400+ days log in and spend 3 welkin moon (15$). I love playing it but it's a game where I don't recommend to someone because how predatory it is, it's have a shitty rng and getting premium currency from in-game activity is really really hard so you will definitely have a thought on the back of your mind "it's ok to spend some bucks on it because I already invested on it", and then without you realizing it, you already spend a lot, happened to someone I know, that's what this game audiences aimed for . The reason why I still playing is because it fits with my daily activity too well and I don't want to spend anymore money on it.

  9. I've been playing since almost the start. I 100% do not recommend this "game." It's designed to waste your time and implicitly incentivizes you to open your wallet to get those shiny new characters that have fucked gameplay kits that will never get fixed.
