Me and my friends only played this game for a month when it first released, but we played the hell out of it, maybe 18+ hours a day, and getting this in my recommended and listening to it has brought back such a wave of nostalgia, especially the third track, it just really hit me, all that time spent exploring every crevice of the map before any guides existed, finding all the secrets and side quests, and just the glory of really experiencing a truly new game we had never played… it was only a month, but this music brings back such good memories. Liyue was always my favorite area too, and I loved the music there the best. Whenever I had 100%'d the game at the time and finished my dailies, I would just sit somewhere with a nice view and zone out.
To anyone reading this, I highly recommend looking for games like this to play when they JUST release, because that is going to be some of the best time spent playing the game. Even if it ends up dying almost immediately (New World) that first month is so magical and fun. Just having no idea what you're doing, playing the way you want to play, playing sub-optimally because there's no guides, discovering everything for yourself… it's such a good time.

i stopped playing genshin a long time ago bc i wasnt interested anymore but whenever i hear its bg music i just remember how much fun i used to have. about 2 weeks ago i tried to start again but i didnt have storage lmao. plus i missed out on the story quite a lot soooo idk what i should do?
