Free Primogems! Genshin Impact Won! But…

Genshin Impact won at the Video Game Awards! We all get 800 primogems… but is this not a bit low? Half of last year seems a bit odd to me…

  1. As a new player, I can't thank you enough for your guides
You always keep things real. not just talking about is how good a character could be, but how good they actually are, and whether or not they're worth pulling.

It pains me to see you in this state, but I believe you'll get through this sooner rather than later; and either way, we'll be here for you.

I've watched several of my favorite creators hit a creative slump over the years, and for those who've recovered, it often involved a greater involvement with the community.

With that in mind, you can try approaching content-creation with your viewers having a more active role (reviewing viewer builds, doing viewer-suggested challenges/handicaps/randomizers; reacting to community-made content …. etc)

I do realize that most of these aren't that original, because some Genshintubers are already doing them, but you I also believe these formats highlight the creator's personality (as well as their relationship with their audience), which is what makes the difference imo.

You can also, try taking a break from the game, and/or exploring a new (viewer-suggested?) game. a new experience is always more exciting.

(My personal vote would go to "Another Eden", a love letter to classic JRPGs, made by the creator of Chrono Trigger)

These are just my two cents, have a great one, Mtashed!

  2. They promised 1600 each award won but went back on that and now it’s only 800 🌞

Not to mention they are not a multimillion company but a billionaire company in just a few years… they could Atleast be grateful for these rewards…

All rewards in the game are so crappy, in events and the anniversary drama.. we try so hard for Genshin and we don’t get anything 😭

  3. Listen mate if you don’t feel like making more genshin content then you really should stop making genshin content, if you like rougelikes then I’m sure we’d all love to see you suffer playing dead cells, risk of rain 2, slay the spire, or you could do stardew guides if you like calmer games, or maybe stream Minecraft, everyone loves Minecraft. All I’m saying is that if you’re tired and burnt out then there are millions of options where the community would still be happy and where you get to create something that you love

  4. only 800 primogems and not even 10 pulls.
other gacha gave 10 pulls like it was nothing. last week event priconne gave away lots of gem , has daily 10 free pull and 110 pull when holiday illya banner was about to expire. i haven't log on for couple of months and suddenly i have 2 spark worth of free gems sitting on my inventory ready for valentine and summer event chara.

genshin should really move to skin economy instead of trying to milk their player base with gacha. because it will only result in more salt.

  5. A quick large sum of primos would barely make a dent in hoyos bottom line. It’s just a number added to your profile. But ever since genshin admitted to not having endgame I’ve been less anxious about pulling every good 5 star so I don’t really pay attention to my primos anymore.

  7. Genshin right now is sailing in dark water. I feel like the new TCG is just a distraction. Back then whenever there a long content drought, people complain so much and their sales plummet. Now they added the card game, it feels like a cheap attempt to distract the players whenever they cant cough-up enough in every version update that is to come.

  8. Imagine if the Genshin Impact Devs listened and valued their community like square unix does it’s Final Fantasy 14 community. Genshin Impact could honestly go down as a top 10 all-time game/franchise but the Devs are TOO greedy. 🤦🏽‍♂️ 🤡 😂

  9. I kinda feel bad for where Mtashed is at right now. At first his guides were quite helpful specially for newer players but other content creators came out with much more in-depth guides like Zyox or Zajef and as the player base matured they gradually leaned on more on these in-depth guide makers, not go mention Zyox has access to media servers so he can upload his guides faster.

Not enjoying the game anymore has also caused his streams to be a rant fest which to be honest is not very enjoyable to watch unless you also hate genshin, this also causes his streams to attract viewers with hate a boner for genshin and in turn causes toxicity. Just comparing his chat with Enviosity's is like night and day.

I watched your content since monster hunter world and I seriously hope you can find a new game that you will enjoy and be successful with.

  10. Dont worry mtashed that card game is terrible. The people having fun with the game are the people who dress up as the characters and believe they are part of the story and see it as their way of life to live in the game.

  11. come on big T it was a voice acting award .. we dont deserve the gems!!! The person who won the award needs the reward not us lol free let me say that again a free 800 primos is more then enough… fyi im farming for ei and im just thankful for anything that can help me get her.. but all jokes aside it wasn't a player award it was one giving to someone that works for genshin we as a player base dont deserve a reward because someone els did a good job.
P.s/edit if the only reason you vote on something "like this" is to gain then dont vote……………

  12. It is kinda weird how little gems they give out. Like why not just give more or give a free unit or 5 star weapon every once in a while? Like you said it would just incentivize playing MORE! I don't understand it. It's such short term thinking by HYV.

  13. You need a change up man. Like you've been saying, the game devs have hit their rut of the game and they are going to follow it. I cannot blame them, that is their line of business where they make profits. Until they have competition in that area, they WILL NOT change their strat and that is their prerogative. Grand scope they are putting out a good product that people enjoy and that will not change until they run interest starts dropping which will not be anytime soon.

I recommend finding a new main target for your content. I know this game made a massive impact on your life and career but you need to lower the priority of this game if you do not feel that you can give it your all. It factors into both your quality of content that you provide to your fanbase as well as your own work satisfaction and sanity

  14. That sword in the cave thing is so true… "Mini games = content" mentality kinda killed this game for me : No quality of life updates, no plans for some kind of "engame" activity besides abyss, multiplayer aspect badly explored, latest (dont care how good it is, will not bother to play it) scaramouche being "reborn" as anemo…. How about having some #$%&, move the story foward and somehow make him and the shogun debut at some point

  15. On another note…your comments about games changing from what you signed up for/liked due to a new version update and the like is prime example of why I prefer games with a definite start, middle, and end even if it means no multiplayer or only play the game and be able to make content for said game for a more limited time (first few weeks/month or so (granted I don't make content myself but that's how I play games: play from story's start to end and whatever end game it has then move onto the next game and if I really liked the game replay it once or so every year or two)).

Cause quite frankly the only games that can be called live services that are worth playing may be Souls games, FFXIV, and Monster Hunter games tbh, all of which also have far better multiplayer options and no BS microtransactions unlike Genshin/most of the bigger multiplayer games out there (shooters like CoD or sports games like Madden/FIFA that both get stale after a while).

  16. i'm not going to tell you to cover anything, but i would like you to at least take a look at nikke. although it's a mobile/emulator gacha-idle game, it's had a very successful, albeit controversial launch, and it still is to this day because of problems and dumb choices by the developers. BUT, it is very successful nonetheless. of course it's overshadowed by genshin's monstrous success, but apparently it dethroned genshin's first place in JAPAN of all places, in terms of monthly sales in only 8 days from this month alone. i understand that you're distraught by the fact that the things you've come to expect to be something it was ceased to be just that, and i just want you to have a game that you have no expectations on what it would be, to give you a fresh start–maybe even an interest. i think it would be an interesting check at the very least, although i would be more than happy to check out anything you put out, as i have since peak destiny 1 days. more power to you tash, much love.

  17. im just disappointed. theres been more videos i see thats full of negativity and ranting. i hope you find new avenue or approach to make a more positive way of content. yes your being honest i give you credit for that. but seeing alot videos full of insult and ranting is boring. did you vote for genshin? why rant? theres a more qualified person to rant. i feel that you really want to quit playing but theres no other games you could get some $$. i hope you could be again the person the first time i watched your video. pls move on from genshin's end game, removing your cc support. they are selfish its a fact. just enjoy the game again.

  18. I also got suckered in to thinking this game was a combat action RPG. Hoping for this tone deaf greedy company that relies on turning people into gambling addicts to actually listen to its players, even if hardcore endgame players are a minority seems like a waste. I will always respect Mtashed for caring and voicing his opinion instead of just staying in it for the money. Most simps say to just stop playing if anyone has criticism towards hoyo and I will do just that.

  19. Mtash you don’t need to keep making video for this game if you don’t enjoy it. I can see it’s killing you inside. Maybe it’s time to do some soul searching. I’m sure you are set for life financially.

But fyi all the region hasn’t been up yet and there’s another ascension coming up 90-100 but I’ll doubt I’ll be around either by then because like you I’m on my last leg. I finally took 5 days off for the first time since release before patch 3.3 and I can tell you the fomo was gone I’m no longer worrying about missing primo or doing weekly. Now, I couldn’t care less about new upcoming characters.

As for tcg I actually enjoyed it, but then again I use to play yugiyo eyes of judgment on ps2 or3. I’ve been playing it nonstop but man those co op game can last so long up to 20 min session so it’s a fun way for me to kill time, instead of farming open world material that I no longer need, while waiting for resin refresh. Sorry for the essay if you’re reading this😂

  20. Definitely try Blue Protocol and Diablo 4 and if you really like them start covering them.
Genshin and Hoyoverse are just not the game and company for you.
Also if you can, avoid Gacha games in the future, I've been playing ToF for the past 4 months and man, I don't think I've ever felt more depressed in an MMORPG, I kid you not, in 20 years, I'm an MMORPG Veteran, I'm def trying new non-gacha titles as soon as they come out next year.
Gacha is just a shit monetization system for ppl who can afford to spend their excess money, if you're not any sort of weathly or have a nice amount of excess money to spend, they are just going to make it not fun at some point in your journey sooner or later to force you to frustration spend, it's like that by design, all they care about in the end is trying to get as much money as possible, they don't give a shit about the art or about their players and there's no way around that, it just is what it is unfortunately.

  21. I dont even feel the story is that great, the presentation sucks badly imo(expect those cool cinematics). Too much reading texts, listen to that annoying paimon and my own character does nothing.. The game should be called paimon impact. I personally lost all drive to play after the no end game news and dont see any point on getting new characters, and then theres too much childish fomo events and they even do story stuff in those. Co op is sooo badly done its unreal. I hope blue protocol is the game genshin should have been..and then theres also diablo 4 coming.

  22. You think about things too much, and most times, emotions aren't useful. They are fleeting and irrational. If you are not enjoying a thing, if doing that thing actually causes you angst, then stop doing it. Simple as that. I don't need to hear all that other stuff, who cares.
