The Hydro Archon Focalors is probably the most highly anticipated characters from Fontaine right now, and understandably. For a while people have been speculating and wondering what her actual name will be, as Focalors is actually only her demon name like Morax, Baal, and Buer. However, we may finally know what the answer to all of this is! Spoiler: This may hint to Fontaine’s relation with Dendro. Unless otherwise specified, all information comes from reliable sources I will not disclose. Recently one Twitter user posted Focalors’ actual name in bits and pieces with blanks to fill in. There was a lot of good ideas being throw around like Fleur-de-lis, a kind of symbol related to France. Earlier today however, there’s been some further clarification as to what it is, and they’ve narrowed it down to a word starting with F, followed by “de Fontaine”. Now, “de Fontaine” means “of Fontaine” in French. While that doesn’t necessarily give it away it does mean that it narrows it down. Though, there’s no need as according to new info her name is in fact “Fluer de Fontaine”, or “Flower of Fontaine” in French. As you can tell though, this clearly isn’t her “name”, it’s her title. This is why, the true answer is that her name is literally just Focalors. Format changes aren’t unheard of as Venti’s Archon and Demon names are the same; Barbatos. This also ties into her skill which has a flower tie enemies down and reduce their HP for a time. It’s understandable now why Nahida and Focalors must have a close link, and how Chief Justice Neuvillette has so much detail on Lesser Lord Kusanali as shown in her original drip marketing Twitter story. It also explains why Sumeru and Fontaine’s landscapes are weaved together. Dendro and Hydro naturally go with each other. However, this is mostly just observations, so maybe it’s just me. I wish they just stick with her demon name Focalors. At least the name Focalors has an air of authority and majesty to it. The names Finina and the recently leaked Furina are so mid they literally sound like names you'd give to a teen girl Vtuber with a chronic "pick-me" personality which is NOTHING the Hydro Archon is supposed to be. She's not cute and cuddly for something like "Furina" goddamn she's supposed to serve cunt in a badass elegant way. Oh and by the way, Furina is so concerningly close to a fcking cat food brand (Purina) UGHH I really hope the leaks turn out false
