[FIX] Failed to replace files – Genshin Impact Update 2.0

Fixed a bug when updating Genshin to version 2.0 without having to reinstall the game.
The video I shot is quite fast, but you can understand the following:
+ The game reported an error that it could not overwrite the file
+ So I delete the old file so that it writes the new file in.
+ Ok done. :))

  11. I know this is a year old, but, my game says launcher.exe, and i tried deleting it, and it didnt work because you need the launcher etc, what do i do now? I have tried reinstalling it, deliting other files etc.

  23. GUYS I GOT IT ( I HAD THIS PROBLEM TOO IN 3.5) WHEN ITS SAYS FAILED TO REPLACE FILES DOWN IT WILL BE SMH LIKE G:/…(etc)
    1.
    Write that link in google and it will install smh
    2.enter in genshin files and delete the file named like the thing you've installed (the old file)
    (If isn't working just
    [a.rename the folder like ex: file.dll -> file.dl
    B.restart the pc and delete it (if you aren't restarting you will cannot delete that file) ]
    3.then you will take that file you installed and insert it in genshin files(the new file)

    Btw:if its change that link when it shows u "failed to replace files" do it again until its done

    ! IM NOT GOOD AT EXPLAINING BUT I HOPE ITS HELPS

  30. Thankfully mine worked, i was Afraid i have to reinstall it again and Wait for 1 hour ToT, i was going through the comments to see if it actually works or not many people are saying it's not working, i do also had the same prob About the launcher but this method works for me tho
