  8. There are official playlists with just the music and some channels put them over the demo video so you can listen to the music and enjoy the visuals without voice lines and effects "getting in the way" if that's more your style

  17. Zhongli's demo is so iconic that most people come back to it everytime new demos drop. I still remember that moment it dropped, 4 yrs ago :') i knew i had to have him and i was right.

  18. Excited to see you react to these! They are plentiful and ongoing. Hoyoverse has done these for their other games as well and are absolutely worth checking out. They will only increase in production quality as we go deeper down the rabbit hole 😂

    Edit: if you plan to play Genshin, keep in mind that the game is heavily story focused and a single patch can take several hours to complete. That said, Genshin is much longer than other games, and continues to grow every patch.

  27. A little something about Genshin's system to give you an insight into the future demos you'll be seeing!

    – Genshin characters are divided into two rarities: 4star characters and 5star characters. 5star characters are usually given a different treatment from the other one as they have longer and more detailed demos that shows off more of their personalities and can even tell a story! In that regard, 5star characters are also the only ones with Character Teasers (another set of videos that gives you a story about them). 4star characters have a bit of a shorter demo video.

    – All characters have their Normal Attacks, their Skills (Elemental skill) and their Ultimates (Ultimate bursts) so you'll see integration of their gameplay into their demos! The Skills and Ultimates 4star characters aren't usually noticeable, but for 5stars, you'll see a little animation before they use their Ultimates! Kinda like a split second cutscene that distinguishes them from 4stars.

    – Characters are indeed divided by elements (7 elements), and by the type of weapons they use, but they're also classed by nation: with very much real world inspirations. You can tell via Character names, outfits, the location's appearance/architecture, music and even story lines!

    Liyue- China

    Inazuma- Japan

    Sumeru- South Asian and Middle Eastern cultures.

    Fontaine-France

    Natlan- Spain, Latin America, West African cultures

    Snezhnaya- Russia

    Really excited to see you react to the rest of the Demos! Also very glad that you appreciate their OSTs! It's really cool to hear the character demos that perfectly describes the characters themselves. And of course they're also inspired by the nation they're from! They'll only get better from here! Looking forward to the next part!

    also when done with all char trailers oerhaps you can milk it out and see the version trailers not gonne lie the trailers from
    2.0-2.4 and 2.6 are great
    3.0-3.3 and 3.7 are really good to
    4.0-4.3 and 4.6 are the best in my oppinion

    why?
    they hold more story the early trailers everytime the front number changes genshin releases a new nation
    and the other once that arent nation lore story just hold an intense and exiting feel to it personally

  35. 6:20 She is not the typical western zombi but a jiāngshī, also known as a Chinese hopping vampire, a type of reanimated corpse in Chinese legends and folklore. The characters for "jiāngshī" are read goeng-si in Cantonese. The use of a talisman on its forhead is to make the corpses move by themselves for easier transportation. Talismans are written in vermillion which represents pure Yang energy. By tacking a talisman to the forehead of the corpse would enable the jiangshi to be controlled by the priest in doing whatever they orders. But in Qiqi's case she gives herseldxthe orders.

  36. That speaker during Zhongli's trailer was in fact Jiraiya's actor.

    As for Zhongli, he is the voice of Kimimaro – another Naruto character. What a coincidence 😛

    In general, the earlier trailers are a bit weaker because they hadn't really found their groove – and for the pre-release trailers, the game of course wasn't making money yet so the budget was lower. You start to notice the increase in production quality for 5star characters from Zhongli's trailer and onward. Some of these trailers are straight up gnarly, I'm very excited to see you react to more in the future.

  41. There's 3 to 4 type of Genshin trailers:
    The Character Demos: which you're reacting rn
    The Character Teasers: which are more lore centered around the 5* characters
    The Version Trailers: which is in the name, it's the trailers we get before each update
    The Collected Miscellanies: Which I recommend you only if you really want to play the game because it's more or less explaining their gameplay and skills, even though there's a bit of lore too

    Anyway, I highly recommend you to watch at least the 3 first categories 🎉
