Currently we have good news about Genshin Impact progress and situation in HOYOVERSE or miHoYo HQ in China regarding the delay of version 2.7. According to the latest information, they have now started to recruit version 2.8 beta tester and the recruitment deadline is on May 13th. this means that Hoyoverse can already estimate when version 2.6 will end but they’re not ready to officially announce it. maybe because they still have another issue like voice over recording situation where Hoyoverse can’t use the recording studio until May 20th. So all of Chinese V A’s have to record at home probably with minimal setup, but the result was still not good enough. And now for the Sussy rumors, we will have a new character in version 2.8 along with Kazuha, Yoimiya and Klee Reruns. Looks like the new character will be Shikanoin Heizou, but we don’t know for sure because, up until now that rumor is still sussy. And also in version 2.7 phase 1 we will get Yelan and Xiao with their signature weapons and for the phase 2 we will get Itto alone with new 4-star Kuki Shinobu. for the weapon banner is Itto signature weapon, red horn stone thresher and the catalyst memory of dust. Typically VAs would record lines about 6 months to a year before release – I'm not sure how that works with a game like Genshin that has regular large updates, but I'd be very surprised if they only started recording for v2.7 now as opposed to last year.
From being anxious if and when a new update will come out to already having an estimation of the livestream and rumors of the character banners….what a twist.
