You can indeed swim! No air meter or stamina consumption! All of Fontaine 50% is land and 50% underwater
Definitely one of my favourite version trailers. Especially the music was the major selling point for me. I think Fontaine could be even darker (story-wise) than Sumeru, just looking at the first few lines spoken in the trailer.
Technology, magic, opera, treating court cases like entertainment? And of course, a lot of water lol
And it is 100% confirmed that yes, we will all be swimming in Fontaine underwater

I do not know if you understood, when they said "to treat a trial like an opera" they meant it literally, the courtroom and the operahouse are the same building. the trials in fontaine are grand spectacles and their Archon delights in their drama.
