Recently, there has been a lot of Genshin impact fake banner information or false information about upcoming banners going around in the Genshin community, and because of that, i decided that now would be the perfect time to talk a little bit about the problem with banner predictions or banner information including Characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Lanyan, and much more. On top of that I’m also gonna explain to you exactly HOW you can tell if the banner predictions are true or not, and how to know, if the source is reliable or not aswell

  4. I hate how they are always trying to raise false hopes. For example, when a character hasn't had rerun in a long time, they're always saying "yes, next version will indeed get rerun", and when doesn't, they're back to "well, this time the next version will!" and so on and on until he gets it right for about the tenth time.

  6. My take: Same with Pokemon leaks, while I might watch them, it doesn't mean I have to believe in them. While I do watch these Genshin leaks, I don't really believe them. While they keep teasing about Capitano and I really like him, im still pessimistic enough to think he maybe will not even be playable and thats why I will not farm anything for him before official announcement.

  22. once someone told me to stop spreading misinformation, when i literally said 1 time confirmed information and banners for next version around 3 weeks before it's release ☠️ and someone above me literally said that all unconfirmed information is confirmed, and that person ignored this person above me

  23. raiden shotgun is basically the only one i go to bc of her *reliability*–she always gives info from trustworthy leakers and if theyre not, she always specifies that. i.e., (not a direct quote js paraphrasing) "keep in mind that this is only speculation and not exactly from a credible source, and is subject to change." also, i find that her primogem count is often more in line with how i grind and play the game, bc im not a 36 star full imaginarium theatre kinda player.

    ofc i agree w you, players can fall into the trap of pre farming for characters that havent been confirmed yet, but i also think its important to put responsibility on the players that look for these leaks as well. its not entirely these channels' fault that people dont heed their warnings and act like what they say is true.

    I always doubted the reliability of those leakers…now everything is clear for me. The explanation of when the beta for new patches starts helped a lot!
    Fun fact: I have been watching some leaks to see when Xianyun will rerun (I got her C0 and really want some of her Constellations) but I quickly realized how often she got thrown around in 5.3 and so on…it was frustrating haha. I‘m just saving for her, in my opinion she‘s the most fun character in the game! (got 320 wishes for her rn)

  33. I made peace with the banner leaks over these past few years because youtube still don't add "block channel" feature yet. But what's more infuriating since Sumeru released is that Archon, Story Quest cutscenes and Weekly boss music got leaks every since a few days before 3.2. Not to mentioned a few weeks ago people leaks Nahida Birthday final scene and just last week people leaked 5.3 Natlan weekly boss music with that boss that we will see later on the thumbnail.

  35. They literally explained how all of what they are saying is based on leaks only and says stuff like "Take this with a grain of salt". It's not their fault that people believed it right away when they explained that the banners aren't accurately true and that it can change. Anyways, there are also a lot of people that predicted the banners accurately.

  37. While I do agree some if not most of their thumbnails are spreading misinformation/clickbait, the actual content inside the video is accurate for the most part. Specifically Raiden Shotgun, most of their content is speculation and not actual confirmed leaks, and when confirmed leaks do come out, they report it accordingly. Someone with enough common sense can choose to take their predictions as a “grain of salt” like how Raiden Shotgun puts it. Yes, they do a lot of advertising for lootbar and also kinda stall the video for as long as possible which does look quite bad. I personally think that clickbait/misleading video titles and thumbnails are unjustified but in the end they’re just simply sharing their predictions for banners.
