Unfortunately they could in fact catch her
Paimon: "Let's explore those area later!"
Sayu, rolling away: "No"
I glitched under Liyue Harbor one time but I didn't proceed further into the abyss
How much time it took u in total to make this video?
I thought you had to do a quest to unlock it? like the varana quest or somthing i dont remeber what its called. but its a super long world quest?

What if you log out before 3.1 release. So after the update, you will be spawn in the new map straight away. π
a moment of silence to respect the characters who were sacrificed in this process
The blocks of βsandβ at the end of the world that you passed through may be a new effect.
The effect would be similar to the fog in Tsurumi Island.
sayu rolling in the sand is so wonderful to me idk why
That pyramid literally looks like something straight out of Assassin's Creed Origins
the desert is coming in 3.1
First think I did was run to the desert and got disappointed π
"I don't like sand. It's coarse, and rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere"
-Some Jedi probably
What about the new area below liyue?
on mobile, if you turn off your wifi and hold any direction, you can keep walking & exploring even after the "disconnected" message pops up. the message box is annoying, but you also get a lot more freedom. since its a wifi/server glitch, youre not pushed back by paimon, you have infinite stamina & infinite health. no fall damage, infinite climbing & swimming. i find it really fun cuz theres no limit to the exploring you can do and its a lot less tedious. if you walk out of bounds and follow the path at the caravan ribat there are some really nice areas to be discovered π
Considering how much you're abusing the game, why not include the leaked information? (for example the map)
My device will explode π sand physics will burn my device πππ
I wouldn't be surprised if the area around the pyramid that you can't access yet will have that traditional "sandstorm" condition where you have to find the correct path to get to the pyramid or else you'll be lost in the sand. Memories of Ocarina of Time come to mind.
What I did notice about how Mihoyo does things though I had made theories about what the map would end up looking like based on what it looks like now. And Sumeru was totally off because prior to v3.0 there was nothing but water south of the Chasm. But now you can see the pyramid all the way from the Jade Chamber.
That said I think the desert area is mostly set in stone. If you've seen the leaked map of it I think the ruins you found is an area called the Eye of the Sands and the valley you reached is called the Valley of Dahri. The interesting thing about Dahri is that it has a double meaning in Persian. It literally means time but the Persians used it to define atheism because in Zoroastrianism there was a concept of progression in time. Non-believers then by their definition don't have this concept meaning they accordingly believe in time without a beginning or end so Dahri. But then in terms of Genshin this could easily reference eternity which Ei once claimed was nearest unto Heaven so maybe we might see that play out in the desert with the Eremites and Scarlet King who also in terms of lore attempted immortality.
Anakin hates this place. Wonder if Aranakin does too…
2:32 theres actually a (semi) explanation for this (spoilers: leaks involved)
in the desert expansion of sumeru in 3.1, the desert will have a "mirage" effect (like when you start seeing stuff that isnt there) and this is most like that effect. I think they already put that mechanic in the game though, which could be the reason why the top of the pyramid dissapears.
The inside of the pyramid, or even the pyramid region is probably an 'extra' region like the chasm, dragonspine, and enkanomiya.
well that's becuz genshin hasn't finished with "things" regarding 3.1
