5.3 will be in a few weeks, and it is absolutely terrifying how time has passed by.

In this video, we will be discussing everything we can expect in version 5.3 from the new banner system to primogems count & free rewards, new skins, the quality of changes, etc.

Pyro Archon Mavuika and our cute little granny, will be in this patch. Mavuika and Citlali will be up in the first phase of 5.3, but their banners will stay throughout 5.3.

With them, we will be getting a new four-star character, Lan Yan. She will be the first Anemo shielder character in the game,

The other four stars are Bennett, Diona, Rosaria, and Chevreuse. Now, HomDGCat has updated that Arlecchino and Chlorinde will be rerunning characters in 5.3, she is a DPS character but because of her element.

We really need better Pyro support characters other than Bennett and Xiangling,

she might even overpower Arlecchino, at least in higher constellations, I really thought Mihoyo would actually cook this time with the Pyro Traveler, but typical Hoyo—you won’t believe they actually made 12 constellations for the Traveler.

Now lets talk about other updates like Primogems count, quality-of-life updates, Lantern Rite, and more free rewards. Let’s start with your favorite—the Primogems count.

the daily commissions. Like every patch, version 5.3 will also last for 42 days, so if you convert your resin every day, you will get 60 Primogems for 42 days, which will grant you 2,520 Primogems total.

You can earn extra Primogems from Tona’s Flame and the Statue of the Seven, 5.3 will include the Natlan final Archon quest. Along with that, we will also be getting that juicy 500 Primogems, totaling 940 Primogems. From Mavuika and Citlali’s story quests, i.e., Tribal Chronicles,

Lantern Rite will be in 5.3, so there will also be a daily login event with an extra 10 pulls for you, totaling 1,600 Primogems in your stash.

The Imaginarium Theater will reset twice The Abyss will reset once,

If you have Welkin, then you can get 4,200 additional Primogems. And if you have Battle Pass, you’ll receive an extra 1,320 Primogems, or 8 pulls.

Also, the Game Awards are happening, so we might get an extra 1,600 or 1000 Primogems from there. Keep in mind that we have about 20 days left before 5.2 ends, and in this time, you can also earn a healthy amount of Primogems from dailies or from events.

Now, as we mentioned, Lantern Rite will be in 5.3, which means we will have the free character selector—ahem! Free four-star character selector—and yeah, Lan Yan will be in the selector too.

With that, we will also be getting a new four-star skin for Xiangling,

a Liyue-focused chronicled wish banner. I don’t have much detail about that right now,
