Another thing I found out after getting Sayu. Apparently the Shuumatsuban is an intelligence organization under the Yashiro Commission and Narukami Shrine. Yae basically has thousands eyes and a hundreds of arms at her disposal omnipresent throughout Inazuma.

I'm still a bit confused when it comes to the timeline of all this.
We know that the current Electro Archon has been ruling for at least 500+ years. Assuming the events of Baal taking Yae's Gnosis happened around then, things were seemingly fine for hundreds of years. She's been giving out Electro visions this whole time too.
I wonder what brought about the sudden change in her attitude within the recent years.
This kind of reminds me of Kiana in Honkai Impact where she found herself with two split egos, one who has hope and justice-minded while the other ego is Sirin, the Herrscher of the Void, who wanted nothing but the destruction of mankind because of her constant reminder of her painful past where her friends were taken away and may have died in the hands of the researchers and betrayal she felt from the "fake" love she had from others. There was a battle between the two and the latter lost and left Kiana alone
I’ve seen theories like this floating around and this is definitely the best of them. I still believe the statue is of the Blessing of the Welkin Moon woman, rather than Yae though. I wonder if I’ll have to come back and edit this comment when I’m proven wrong😂

Raiden isn't the actual archon. The first electro archon was somehow weakened and now resides in the 1000palm statue. The 1st electro Archon's will is what controls raiden. Thus she enters the flow state where all her actual emotions are gone and all that is left is the 1st Archon's will to forever protect this nation from outsiders. The statue in Inazuma is of the first archon not Yae. Just because her hair bangs looks a little like statue doesn't mean it's her. Just doesn't feel right. Tbh Yae and Raiden do have a direct connection which will be explained in the future quest.
The Hakushin Ring catalyst lore describes a "dark will" that destroyed the memories of Kazari. Could that be what "controlled" the archons?
Yae being the true electro archon would make all the hype for baal die down tbh, still rolling for them both though

Could have just got any potential vision wielder and blasted them with indulgence. Necessity is the mother of invention… and therefore change. Make it so that they never want of anything… so they will never do anything.

I'm wondering if Scaramouch couuld be the one who took Baal genosis. Yae wont interfere since as we can see from both Venti and Zhongli they dont meddle on anything others do as long as they dont disturb their original title/power(?) so Yae could be doing the same🤔🤔
there are theories saying that kokomi is not as good as we think she is. So I was wondering the scene in 2.0 trailer where the traveler was drowning, what if he finds out about kokomi true nature and feel betrayed
tbh this is a good theory but I didn't see how the statue resembled yae. And for yaes gnosis to be given to baal makes no sense because as you know ventis was stolen, and Zhongli gave his away because his time as archon was over (erosion). It wouldn't make sense cause yae has had neither happen to her she looks, and seems fine so erosion is out of the question and her gnosis was certainly not taken because of the overwhelming power that a archon possesses therefor just about no one could take it. 1. My guess is that yae is a descendant or a close friend of the true electro archon. 2+1 maybe the old archon saw true ambition in baal and gave her gnosis away but since the old archon is most likely not alive anymore baal was consumed with grief/anger and wanted to make sure nothing ever happened to her and her people so thats why she started to seize visions because in her mind they symbolize eternity. 🙂
