Dvorak Voice Actor Situation Is Totally Insane! – Genshin Impact

The voice actor of Dvorak (MarcoMeatball) is having a tough time. He was criticized by many after making a video about Wuthering Waves, which has unique qualities and features but is often compared to Genshin Impact. Another problem arose because the thumbnail he used for the video was quite controversial, which left some people dissatisfied, especially those who didnโ€™t watch the whole video. Despite this, he remained enthusiastic and made a video he believed was worth discussing.

  1. Games are fiction, not real life. I know the Natlan controversy has long since passed (not considering the Hoyo haters who keep it going, but people need to realize a few things:

1 – Hoyo is not going to and will not make changes. Given they havenโ€™t addressed the โ€œcontroversyโ€ at all, itโ€™s likely they never will.

2 – Genshin is a work of fiction made by a Chinese company. It makes sense that they are going to make the game in their image.

3 – Referencing a culture does not mean it needs to be 100% accurate to the real world.

4 – If you hate the game, quit your complaining and leave the community. Hate is not a welcome thing anywhere in this world.

I always hate having to come back to this arguement, but the community was better before it and I can tell you itโ€™s is not โ€œHoyoโ€™s fault.โ€ Simply itโ€™s because weโ€™ve become a soft and opinionated society that the vocal minority some how always returns to the front. Iโ€™d argue most players never cared about it in the first place. So my point is, if you hate it, donโ€™t support it, and disagree with Hoyo, leave the community and stop playing the game.

  3. You know what… I have been hating twitter for making dumb claims of adding "diversity". Now I'm on their side after seeing 2024 banners, there is only 1 male 5 star character that have been released in 2024.

WHERE'S MY REPRESENTATION MIHOYO?! Aren't we hot enough for you?

  4. If that mild lowest tier of ragebaiting thumbnail (id even know if that's ragebait thumbnail because it loooks funny to me) upset you, you really need to touch grass and have some experiences in real life.

You act like a spoiled 5 year old children, even though you're 20++

  5. Seems more like a money grab. Itโ€™s 2 totally different games on the same system of gatcha character pulls.

Genshin was always loved for its open world, nostalgic music and region based diversity, not black wash Africans.

Wuwa had a great start but improved overtime with player feedback and funding thanks to launch success.

They are both great games, I have no doubts about their success.

Iโ€™m not sure why people are backwashing and race criticizing a Chinese/ Japanese origin game for not having black characters. Itโ€™s like asking an Indian movie to have a lead black male or female protagonist. Concept art and recreation of characters in a different race are fine, but lashing out in the game company for being racially biased is not the route. You guys have the privilege to sit behind a phone and bombard comments hiding behind a mask. You never truly understand how to control or covey disagreements respectfully. If you cant handle something online imagine your real life situation?

  6. i seriously love marcoโ€™s music analysis on all the genshin pieces ESPECIALLY for scaramouche. it really gives you a new perspective on how music alone can so strongly tell the story of the character

  9. people from this channel were the ones who were saying that criticising natlan for not having good representation was unnecessary but now when he got attacked for it you guys are angry at the community. You support things sometimes and other times you donโ€™t as long as it gets you views

  10. people online cant take other's opinions, or twist them into other things. People's first though (atleast on twitter mostly) when they see a thing they disagree with is to leave hate comments and bully people off the internet instead of blocking and ignoring

  11. The skin color issue kinda hurts me on both ends because… Yeah theres actually a lot of cultural representation and its a videogame who cares, right?

But on the other hand its the second to last nation we have left the last one is mother russia. ๐Ÿ˜… If the only dark skinned characters in genshin are the BAD GUYS something is a little sus.

And i love kaeya and xinyan but 2 out of 90+ characters kinda is disappointing.
