  1. There's just one thing that's a little off-putting for me during a couple instances where I'm not sure if it's because of fitting too many words in a verse or if it's like the pace of the singing trying to stay in line with the music, but those verses just felt a little off the flow to me. Compared to the Chinese or Japanese versions of the song I don't feel they had the same issue. Otherwise still a great song and great singing by Faouzia.

  2. I would also highly recommend you to take a listen at the Chinese version cuz that one is sung by a male singer which makes the song on a completely different key. I'm also extremely curious about your reaction on that one cuz you are prolly the most musical person I've seen out there that has reacted to Genshin videos. Love your videos and reactions!

  3. Faouzia is the singer. 24 yo Moroccan Canadian singer songwriter. I think she has a great sense of building to ‘the moment’, though she does love the unresolved chord or phrase too.

From 3 years ago, her music video for “Hero” is like a cross between Mortal Combat and Barbie Dancing Princesses. It’s fluffier than her usual songs, but fun.

Musically, you might like her recent “Fur Elise (Live Performance)”. Inspired by Beethoven’s bagatelle, but a bit different melody and dark lyrics.

I’ll be back if you do more from Faouzia. Thanks for this.

  4. Faouziaaaa ❤️❤️❤️ She’s one of the best artist of her generation (she’s only 24yo). Would love to see you react to Faouzia’s music, I recommend starting with her Desert Rose live performance on The Singer 2024. Enjoy!

  5. Beautiful, powerful song. I agree that I would've loved for Faouzia to belt more in the song. It took 2/3 of the song until she got there but then they didn't let her do it much in favor for the choir singing.
