ps, albedo's title (secretum secretorum) mean "the secret of secrets" in latin, I know that he is very secretive but mihoyo might have already thought about this while making him. he might be secretly working with his doppelgänger in the exchange for something valuable.
albedo also said "destroy mondstadt…destroy everything" at the end of the dragonspine quest, he has had alot of time to do so, but he didnt. does this mean that he was planning something? or is it just that he cares about the traveler and doesen't ACTUALLY want anything harsh to happen. which is a huge hint that this isnt the real albedo,it's the mirror/doppelgänger albedo.
the avalanche might've killed the REAL albedo, and his doppelgänger might be the one behind the avalanche. (since he has cryo powers)

I kinda support the theory that this isn't albedo or Albedo is controlled or something cause if you look here, 2:54 closely, you can see the feet everyone opposing Albedo on the opposite side.
This mirror theory makes sense, after all, looking at the slimes, both Geo and Cryo have similar forms (That darned shield).
In theory, this can mean two things: 1. Someone os trying to immitate Albedo and the avalanche is used to capture him or smt 2. Albedo somehow managed to find out how to manipulate the element closest to Geo and somehow got corrupted.
Story wise? I'd choose the former. Lore wise? I'll take the latter. Other than the fact that their expression and elements mirror each other, their actions also does. In Albedo's trailer, it shows that he's calculative in battle and isn't reckless…he doesn't put out unecessary energy in battle and moves swiftly. On the other hand, the 2.3 Albedo is the mirror ver of it. He's reckless, does the uncessary, and relies a bit too much to brute force.
Though I do have a feeling that the Alchemy Notes plays a huge role. Not sure why, but does feel like it.
It's also worth noting the big symbol mirror-Albedo summons behind him when he launches the icicles has the same symbol whopperflowers have on their foreheads on it.
