I only have a question about the ''bacckup theory''. I Focalor is the "backup" from the OG hydro archon that would mean she's came to be after her death. Meaning during the cataclysm period, same as nahida but she supposed to be older than nahida ? I did think that she could b just a few weeks or months older, that possible but seem unlikely

Well the old Archon died and was replaced, but really was she replaced, or is the new Archon really kinda the old one really? seems to be a theme in Inazuma and Sumeru. By the time we're finished maybe all the OG Seven will be back in some sense.

It would explain how come each of the dead Archons happens to have a correctly elementally aligned powerful god ready to step up and replace them even though the point of the Archon war was to remove spare gods.

Somebody can THINK they're guilty and not actually be which could be a theme in this story. The previous oceanids could have thought focalors was somehow responsible before she became the new archon just because she had something to gain. We know from 3.6 that the previous hydro archon persihed defending against the abyss, even if it still doesnt preclude them being assassinated by something it's likely just the abyss itself directly. We know that oceanids came looking for the previous archon at tunigi but finding them not there retreated again.
It's likely the traveller themselves will need to go to a courtroom to defend somebody knowing the evidence they got from tunigi hollow, that somebody could be the new hydro archon.
The fatui wanting the gnosis have something to gain by accusing the archon of deicide. However given the storyline we KNOW that they WILL get the gnosis at some point and that the hydro archon WILL join the travellers side. (by 4.2)

Focalors didn't kill any archon, the other archon is already alive. not like Raiden makoto who died
