  1. I just want her E skill to proc faster, her ult duration to extend, and get of her locked c1 with that HP Ascension stat and make it a passive. That's literally it otherwise her kit is damn near unusable

  2. This is not a cope because I'm not pulling*

With all those changes with Dehya, She's still pretty bad and I see no potential of her getting buffed significantly. That being said, it gives me an idea that future character(s) might change the way she plays or buff her so much that Hoyoverse is way too cautious with buffing her. Hear me out, Hoyoverse will not make and design a character for a bad bad sales which they will rerun for years. Dehya wanters, if you are dedicated on pulling for her, You have a great chance of having another character who's meant for her to play with.

  3. I hope Hyv has actual plans for her kit in the future where we can make use of her potential like what happened with Thoma, Kuki and Alhaitham.

I saw leak on Baizhu that mentioned quite a few of possible elemental reaction in the future. So…

  4. What about risky comps ? Like Rosa Q Melts with Dehyas Q. Or Ayaka- Dehya. Also if picking Up Millelith and Using another shielder/supporter with Noblesse. Its partywide 40% atk buff and 30% shield buff. If taking pyro resonance into account: 65% ATK. Plus Dehya Mitigation and shield, you are almost immortal.

  5. I feel like Dehya was built to be used with the Hydro Archon, which would synergize with her current kit, hence the bad damage multipliers.

With the current roster, Dehya only has a few notable teammates and she herself seems to be bad in every team role compared to other better characters. This would be like how when dendro element drastically made certain characters roles change and made them much better.

At release she will be pretty bad, with a limited role in any team. However with the release of the Hydro Archon it will probably make her much better in a team. I really don't like this approach from Hoyoverse to sell us the solution to fix a bad character by getting another character in future patches.

  6. I love her so I'm going to pull for her. And hoping that a new artifact set will save her.
But of course. I finally really like an Event Pyro 5* and she seems to perform.. not really good

  7. Woulden't Deyha be good in Melt Ganyu tho?
If the team is Ganyu-Deyha-Nahida-Zhongli, it should work wonders. Yes I know its a full 5 star team, and its a bit pathetic that she is only there to hit with pyro every 5 seconds but oh well…at least she has some purpose.

As for the DPS that you stated, that Zhongli versions would provide more damage, well damage is not everything especially not for Melt Ganyu, since if you form the teams around her, she can deal a ridiculous amount of damage with Bennet+Jean+Zhongli.(I myself can reach 200k + CA shots in that scenario).

The freedom she would provide by making you no longer need to stay in the circle and no longer need to switch back into a pyro unit to reapply burning would be fairly ok .

She would still not be worth pulling for, but she can provide some freedom in the Melt Ganyu composition.
Nahida freed Melt Ganyu of Burst reliance and Dehya could free her of needing to switch to a pyro unit when or if the pyro on the enemy gets extinguished . It surely would be an improvement even if you trade , 4k theoretical max DPS, which on its own is honestly not that indicative of much. This is something that annoys me about TC's for Genshin. They treat it like any other game where DPS is king, despite the fact that Genshin is not played like that at all and despite the fact that sheets are just data that and not conclusions….

  8. She is likely a burning enabler, based on her timings.

This means burning melt or straight burning like Nilou.

So… either there will be a new mechanic or change to her kit to buff burning, or there will be a new Nilou-like character that perfectly synergizes with Dehya.

  9. I have a very different plan for Dehya personally. I'm currently planning on using her as a pyro character for a burgeon team. Build her full em with the new event em claymore coming at the same time and just use her as an elemental skill bot for burgeon. Functionally using her in the same way as em raiden for hyperbloom. The mitigations and interuption resistance is just a nice bonus that she will provide. Full team I'm looking at is Nahida, Dehya, Xingqui/Yelan, and Kokomi. Not the best dps team build or anything, just hyper comfy as I am a casual player.

  10. UPDATE: according to reliable grapevine scuttlebutt, her beta build just changed again. Her atk multipliers went WAY down, but it looks like she now has 2 sets of HP multipliers, 1 on her base kit, and 1 on her c1. There's other stuff too, like an extra damage source on her c2.

Implications: it might mean her kit is more integrated now, but unfortunately it reduces effect of wolf's gravestone, and Bennet and other atk buffs, but makes hp twice as viable… which is a but odd with yelan and xq because her burst doesn't proc their bursts… so it's a bit if a conundrum and I'm curious of your thoughts with the NEW numbers.

Is it good that she's more integrated split scaling? Or is the loss of Bennets efficacy for her an overall massive nerf?
