Id say he'll used both his right arm and sword, seeing that his right hand has a power to grab the Abyss Heralld. Some sort of magic punch thing, or his hand would have an aura like razor, and his ultimate activate makes him able to used both, sword and demon arm combo

Why would they assign a specific sword to him if it wasn’t for story? The only time the character is officially holding a specific weapon is in artwork.
I don't think Dainsleif would be playable. Even if he is, he'd probably be around when Khaenri'ah story line unfold.
I really hope they put something similar for weapons, like make a prototype sword by using other swords and make it similar to Parametric Transformer and have it 1 week cool down, atleast you would have a guaranteed prototype instead of facing boss every week

Imaging having an artifact with atk main stat and def substat only to convert it to a def main stat with a flat atk sub stat 🙂
the conversion of artifacts is kinda meh. It is still RNG regardless since there is no guarantee that when you swap a bad artifact, you'll get a good one in return.Same goes to what kind of artifact it will give, in exchanging, you'll still either get any of the set of sets it will be offered in exchange. In the end, you'll just end up wasting resources and mora that you gathered for the swap.
Dain must be a playable chracter , if you go to genshin impact channel and scroll down you will find a spoiler video that shows chracter in the future . One of them are Dain.
