Cyno’s Korean voice actor is being replaced due to the unfortunate passing of Lee Woo-ri on March 14, 2024, at the age of 24. Starting from version 4.7, Jung Eui-Jin will take over as Cyno’s voice. Rest assured, both voice actors’ names, Jung Eui-Jin and Lee Woo-ri, will be displayed in the credits. All pre-version 4.7 lines voiced by Lee Woo-ri will remain unchanged. We are grateful for Lee Woo-ri’s dedication and wish them peace. They will be missed as Cyno’s voice. Best of luck to Jung Eui-Jin; I am eager to hear how they will bring Cyno to life.

  1. I wanted to use Cyno in this video, but my Genshin is stuck installing, and I have to restart it, which seems to take a long time because of my old PC. That's why I use Himeko. I apologize for that.

  2. For those wondering the cause of death was undisclosed by his family, in South Korea (especially given his career and his age) it is generally safe to assume that it was likely suicide.
    It is truly saddening and heartbreaking, but unfortunately it happens way too often among young people to be overworked beyond reason and pushed to your limits due to stress and external pressure. These issues should be properly addressed, not overlooked and moved on immediately as if nothing had happened.
