Hello everyone! Just a few hours ago, Hoyo officially confirmed the date for the Special Program for Version 5.2, which will take place this Friday on November 8th at 7am eastern standard time. In this video, we’ll go over everything you can look forward to in the upcoming livestream. Based on the current update schedule, version 5.2 is expected to launch on November 20th. This update will introduce Chasca and Ororon as new playable characters, marking the final patch of 2024. Also, we are giving out five welkins when we reach 15,000 subscribers so make sure to subscribe to not miss out!

Alright, let’s start. You might have noticed there aren’t any Chibi characters on the English poster for the Livestream announcement. Just like the 5.1 Special Program this one will also be hosted by NPC characters, however, this only applies for the English version. For those of you who don’t already know, the voice actors are currently seeking protection from unauthorized AI use of their voices, and some of the Genshin Impact VAs are involved in this.

Chasca and Ororon will be introduced in the version 5.2 update, so you can look forward to seeing their gameplay during the live stream. Devs will reveal their abilities, including Elemental Skills, Bursts, and the Night Souls exploration ability. Now, let’s dive into one of the most exciting parts: the banners. As you may already know, version 5.2’s first phase, launching on November 20th, will feature Chasca and Lyney’s banners. The second phase, starting on December 11th, will consist of Zhongli and Neuvillette’s banners. Our newest four-star character, Ororon, is also expected to appear in the first phase banners, although this could change.

In terms of new weapons, version 5.2 will add several new ones. This update will also introduce the new five-star bow called Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage, which is Chasca’s signature weapon. Additionally, three new four-star weapons will be available, one of which will be free as part of the flagship event in version 5.2.

Also, don’t forget that during the Special Program, three redeem codes giving 300 primos in total will be given out. However, they’ll only be valid for 16 hours, so make sure you claim them quickly. We post all the cost in the Community tab, as well as our discord, so make sure to subscribe and join to avoid missing out.

Another thing to look forward to in Version 5.2, is two new types of saurians and a map expansion. This update will introduce the Ququsaurus and the Iktomisaurus saurians. Both saurians have the ability to fly, making exploration more fun and enjoyable, and you can expect to see a showcase in the livestream. Additionally, there are new areas to explore, including Warped Branch Cliff, Mirror Wall Mountain, and Ochkanatlan. These regions will introduce two new tribes, the Masters of the Night Wind and the Flower Feather Clan.

Devs are also expected to announce some of the quality of life changes we are getting in 5.2 as well. This will include an enhancement to the Treasure Compass for example, making it easier for players to explore the map. It should now mark Seelies and Time Trial challenges as well as chests. We will also get the Natlan fishing system in this update.
