    It is unironically funny how CN can switch so quick with boycott and play the game regardless and spend money on it act like it never happened but as soon as some bad bug fix isnt to their liking they rage like kids

  11. I think that Hoyo's favouritism towards CN is not only just because of money, but its also because about the lengths in which the CN playerbase are willing to go to hurt the game / company. There has been MULTIPLE instances where the CN playerbase has successfully get their government to intervene in various Hoyo game issues. Issues with skins, issues with character designs etc. Its one thing if the CN government ignored these complaints but they didnt. Like the main reason why we will not get any swimsuit skins in any Hoyo games in the future is literally cuz of the CN government.

    The main difference between Twitter and the CN players is that Twitters is usually all bark no bite while CN will actually walk their talk. There is also one instance that an assasination attempt has been made towards Hoyo CEO cuz the person didnt like one of the skins. Its absurd but thats just the kind of playerbase that Hoyo has cultivated. I recommend checking out Mujin's video for full context about this.

  18. As a Chinese I can be super honest wiith you about the colorism: between darker Yellow skin and paler Yellow skin, we prefer the pale one.
    Sad fact, It's not a problem about yellow and we don't give a fck.

The only thing weird for me on this situation is, why waiting 9 months to fix this "bug", I mean after such a long time this gimmick was seen as a QoL kinda and accepted as part of his kit, if they would have fixed this a day or 2 after he came out the backlash would have been much less. But anyway thanks alot Chinese Bros, it once again shows u guys are the ones Hoyo listens too.

    CN gigachads going HAM with consumer fraud lawsuits and threat of CCP crackdown = Neuvillette the hydro sovereign using his real ultimate power to stop the flood.
    I don't even disagree with the colorism argument, but fact of the matter is you guys just don't have the pull to enact the change you want, whereas CN obv does. It is what it is.

  29. Unlike Nahida and Ganyu, Neuvillette’s tech works WHILE spinning. The fast spins for the others do nothing. If Ganyu lets go while spinning, her arrow will have the same kill range, and leave enemies in other directions unaffected. Nahida’s curse marks have a cap of 8 enemies; extra spinning won’t help.

I think its good to have diversity in cultures and races be a thing in games, but at the same time some people need to get out of Twitter lala land and realize that the rest of the world doesnt care this much about "white washing". Especially in CN where they dont really promote pther races that much because people genuinely dont care. Its a huge cultural difference that people cant wrap their head around. I dont think hoyo care about what global thinks at all

  41. It was obvious that it's a bug but they didn't bother to immediately fix it and waited way toooooo long. I think it's super stupid btw. because you do way more dmg than intented that way, we are speaking of like 3x as much in abyss and why Neuv is so ridiculous busted (kinda reminds me of the Crow bug in ToF which they removed after 5 patches lol but only for global)… but they can't just leave it in for so long baiting players into even more spending into this broken thing for them to take it away like nearly 1 year later.
