I mean… I also have a clam crit rate circlet that has crit dmg, ER, HP% and def as sub stats. I still rather use the (crimson) ATK% circlet on my Qiqi for even higher heals (that also has both crits). But of course artifact drop rates are rigged. Extremely so. Who'd ever argue about that (apart from MHY)… Recently I did 40 rounds in the emblem artifact domain and I all I got was 8 – only eight! – emblem artifacts from it… of course all of those were trash. And even though I now have more Shime artifacts than I every cared for those also are almost all utter trash.
That's how MHY is slowly sucking out all of my motivation to keep playing the game (let alone buy the battlepass or blessings anymore).
I finally got a pyro goblet with both crit stats from the clam set. I’ve been playing for over a year.
This happened and is happening to me, been farming this dg since day one, i got only 1 great item and 2 avg out of it, tons of good clams that im not gonna use anytime soon.
I think Mihoyo riggs what type of stats an artifact has and the rates that the desired artifacts drop at least for a set amount of time. Just like no one was getting the weapon materials to make craftable weapons from boss fights until they got so much backlash then all of a sudden everyone was getting at least one a week if not more. I think they do a lot of things behind the scenes that we s the player can't see.

No joke I had a clam set flower with hp hp% atk and critdamage and my luck always said so so I thought it would go in critdamage omg what was I wrong it ALL went into crit damage so rn I have a 34%critdamage clam set piece serting in my inventorycuz no one I have can use it (im sorry koko that you cant crit, but atleast you critted into my heart with your beautifull design <3)
I been farming Husk set with two account. I only have one decent set for Noelle. and still working another set for itto, my other account only flower and feather. Circlet is like impossible to see crit rate or crit dmg, Same for Goblet. Mihoyo suck!

was farming clam set for kokomi now my koko is sitting with -37 crit rate with 179 crit dmg so funny mihoyo so funny
Relatable, been farming the viridescent domain for 2.5 months now and I havent seen a single viridescent elemental mastery goblet or circlet
It is definitely rigged, but in a sense of that this is simply how they designed the mechanic. It is designed to put you at a disadvantage. While the rest are coincidence RNG.
Are there solutions to make this mechanic less predatory? of course because other games have went through the same phase.
The mechanic is called…the ability to reroll your sub stats using either a special currency or Mora.
But there's definitely some conspiracy theories out there like how the Drop Rate for certain sub stat and main stats are lesser than others, or how each update changes the RNG so the Artifact needed for the current Banner character is harder to get

Its clearly rigged! Im a geo main, and ive been farming this nonstop for almost 2 months! Using primos to get more resin per day,and still to this day… i have zero circlet with crit in the substatus roll. And my noelle is rocking atack percent sands cause i cant get one single sands with def main stat,with crit as substatus. Its a shity way to keep players in the game by making them do the exact same dungeon every single day for 2 months. Love genshin, but as soon as blue protocol opens worldwide, im there.
this is the reason why i got a very nice set for my qiqi in just a few weeks. those double crits in every artifact just keep on coming
while farming for husk i got healing set 6 times in a row so i wasted 120 resin, and a day before that i got a flower with def%, crit rate and crit damage and it rolled 2 times into FLAT def , 1x low def%roll and 1x low crit rate roll…screw this domain

i was trying to early farm for itto but after getting bs artifacts i don't even wanna get itto anymore.
It's not you… My experience has been the same.
I have been farming for Petra domain and Shimenawa domain for the past 3 months…. I only got a total of 11 Attk% time piece artifact on all sets (Majority on Bolide set) its shitty TBH.. Makes me want to quit
