a lot of people still dont know this about childe's counterattack ability which is not surprising since he does get killed very quickly if everyone is strong enough, however if u use hydro attacks against his first phrase or electro attacks against his second phrase everyone who is near childe is very likely to get one-shot. this raiden in the video killed 3 ppl when i usually see only two ppl get one-shot, damn

I always thought using hydro or electro at childe's boss fight wasn't really efficient, especially in co-op even before I learnt about the counter. It has 70% electro and hydro res at the last phase if I remember correctly and it's a lot even with some characters' constellations.
Yeah it’s crazy how many people don’t know you can’t use hydro or electro, plus he has electro hydro resistance so why do people keep using them.
Once I brought Ayato to Childe boss fight, dies within 10 seconds, along with another Hydro party member. That was probably the fastest death I've experienced. Never bringing him to fight Childe again.

I always used to do it in single player with Noelle and Albedo, or just Ayaka. So during the transformation, if I was near him it was only just merely a scratch 😂

I have fought childe like 100s of time but I didn’t know about absorb type thing attack. If it is just 2nd phase (pure electro phase) thing that explains it because I always use my Ayaka bust during childe animation so by time childe transform to electro done my bust start hitting him and by the time he have chance to hit. I just get to 3rd phase.
I never knew that! I always use Kokomi and Beidou for practical every fight and i have to admit that child always did a lot of damage so that i never would have dared to fight him without my overhealing tank Kokomi.

I figured Childe had Hydro and Electro res so I've never bothered to play either while fighting him. Had no idea he could counterattack… I guess this explains at least a few times when I've died to him in co-op. Though we all usually kill him before I even use my burst
I always forget that I can't kill him pretty much instantly in co-op. Sometimes end up dying because of it.

I still deem Childe as one of the harder boss fights in the game and that's because of his one shot capabilities. While he's SUPER easy to beat up he's also SUPER easy to die on if you aren't careful. Personally, I don't rank bosses just by how hard to kill, they're also ranked by how easily they can kill me. So yea

I remember reading about it at one point but I forgot. Then I re-learned the hard way when I used Yelan against him once.
I knew he could counter attack but I never knew that HE was weak himself, I always thought that whales always come into Childe co-op and kill him within 3 minutes
if you aren't familiar with his boss fight yet, you can remove the electro/hydro mark on your character to avoid him dealing damage to your character by getting close to the outer barrier of the battlefield
