The emotional journey this teaser explored matched how I've been feeling the past few months. It hit a little too hard
Oh, I think I get it now. Maybe she wants eternity because she doesn't want to lose the people she loved. Death is inevitable. The same story in Nino Kuni 2 where a queen stopped time from flowing because she wants to prevent the inevitable destruction of her kingdom. Maybe she thinks this 100 eyed God will help her keep this eternity thing – Like eternal mangekyu in Naruto Shippuden I guess. lol.

And we're slowly finding out why.

I mean, I was expecting not a single content creator to know who these characters are but it's still sad seeing no one give the game the attention it really deserves, even those who make money off it.
People are talking of how the last person we see might be her mother or someone she looked up to.
But I think that's her.
That's her before all this traumatic experiences happened and when her ambition as the god of eternity was not damaging her people.
Once she lost that ambition and saw that being that way would not help her achieve the protection her people need in order to stay alive from the continuous threats, she changed.
(I said ambition because once she touched "that lady" she shattered into gold particles which faded and disappeared. And now I'm gonna bring back into the discussion about the Omnipresent God statue.
Because once Aether resonated with all the 99 visions ambitions the statue gleamed powerfully golden particles.
I'm only assuming that losing her ambition as the god that was supposed to protect her people really took a tool of her. And now instead her ambition became more damaging to her people but more satisfactory in her eyes. More… Efficient.
Although she inflicts pain with her ruling. I can only assume its temporary. Until she gathers the 100th vision and probably will use the omnipresent statue as a permanent protector alongside her.
That way her people won't have to be in danger anymore no matter what life threatening event can happen.
A statue can't die. Therefore there's no feeling of loss? That's what I can only assume she's planning.)
So you can also see that once the so called "ambition" embodied as her past self disappeared, the sparkle in her eyes did so too.
She gave up on her emotions in order to achieve the ideal that's impossible to be achieved.
Eternity doesn't stop time nor slows it. It's truly against the universal laws. The development of the world.
Nothing it's eternal nor perfect. It's but a paradox.
Her blank state is maybe her disassociating from her caring side that she has for people in time of need and once she regains the sense of feeling her eyes instantly become sad and hollow.
She hates being a tyrant in the eyes of her people I can feel it.
But there's no other choice left for her besides that.
Mihoyo really can make most hated characters into most loved characters in a short time 😃 I saw it many times that I can surely say she will be loved by people more after this

After this trailer, you can see that all the things the Raiden Shogun is doing is just trying to cope with the fact that all of her friends are leaving her. Its not a good coping mechanism obviously, but I can't exactly fault her for all that's happened. If you see enough of your friends die, you start to think that maybe people living forever is a pretty good thing.

Which means baal is the second electro archon
Why baal start the vsion hunt decree?
Its cause she misunderstood what eternity atually really meant

I knew she had some shit going on, but is too sad the Archons have to deal with their pain alone, I mean I know Zhongli sometimes visits Venti, cuz they being the oldest ones makes sense they'd be the closest plus they're the only survivors, but for Baal and the "younger" ones must be rough, I mean Zhongli situation is kinda reversed with Baal's cuz he was cold and ruthless in the Archon War he was just executing his contracts, after some help and friends he changed,and prepared his people for hardship and life,now he's ready to let go, but Baal must've lost everything on an instant so she couldn't take it, maybe having those feelings made her weak for manipulation 🤔 ya know the Fatui are sneaky, they even have a contract with Zhongli, and we still don't know what contract is 👀, oh man this is getting spicy xD
