  1. only the profoundest questions are met with an eternal silence. reminded of sal vandagnyr asking the heavenly envoys about the meaning of eternity and the envoys fell silent ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

  2. Okay but listen, from what I understand, on the real word, most of our current language is from Greek and Latin — which could be a parallel to Khaenri'ah. Meaning this rule to don't find the genesis of words or their origins, is to avoid any form of connection with that nation.

Which is not strange that Alhaitham mentioned the bird, of all animals. Because birds are usually symbols of freedom and sending a messeage. Just like Barbatos's tale about the two birds, Nahida's parallel of being a caged bird and Mona's story about the crystal bird.

  3. The sky (the traveler) the stars (Mona) the mountains(Zhongli) and the birds (venti) ppl who have suspicions of the current teyvat and either know the truth or is questioning the truth of teyvat. Bit of a headcannon I know but given the theme of the teaser and how those terms have been associated with these characters on different occasions I canโ€™t help but to speculate.

  4. there's definitely way more than to what meets the eye here with Alhaitham – i believe there's ton of lore behind him that we have yet to uncover. why else would he be a major character in the sumeru archon quests?

  5. For someone with such a thirst for knowledge, Alhaitham really hold himself from seeking the origin of language, in other word the secret of creation itself (assuming somewhere there's the first words in teyvat were been used to record the creation of teyvat).

If it's not for his value of ethics, he could be another Dottore. Imagine if he was dedicated to discover the secret of teyvat itself and access Irminsul by forced. Who knows what will happen. We're lucky he is in the good side.

  6. "why doesn't he do leg day"
"the most profound of questions are only met by boundless silence" that's some timing
also can anyone recommend a good theory video on why people think alhaitham is deshert reincarnate?
Personally, I think it's stupid. The ningguang being guizhong reincarnate one was already meh for me. Can anyone give me absolute evidence that reincarnating into a human is a thing. For now I only ever seen Vanessa possibly becoming a falcon and maybe makoto but I thought her leftover energy just dissipated and left the tree behind. Even nahida ain't a reincarnation, she's a segment of rukkha (or irminsul) that was made when she existed.

  7. did any one notice that when kusunali was shown the closer objects were of the rainforest and the further objects were of the desert, this symbolises peace and harmony in her reign

  8. Itโ€™s interesting he said the bird when Al haitham means young hawk in the Arabic language and in Egypt they were linked to royalty hovering above mortals Horus a god that literally has the same color scheme as the scarlet king he is described as a hawk or falcon too ( I assumed that bec of the statues in the desert ) + I noticed toth is a bird who we also see in some temples in Genshin and he is the god of knowledge and wisdom hmmm sus toth was related to the moon while Horus was related to the sun

  9. Wonder how he'd FLIP if he ever finds out that whatever he wrote as a scribe got gaslit by a tree. History "archived for posterity" until some kid with an identity crisis decides it should've been different.

  10. Its so interesting how when the teaser gets to the "peace" part, the scene behind Alhaitham is right after the Scarlet King's sacrifice, but instead of Rukk being there, it's Nahida…

  11. I can't help but be very curious about how the words just.. floated from the pages towards him
Like it could be nothing more just a visual thing to make it prettier or something or a "knowledge being absorbed as you read the book" thing visualized but..
There's still this thought in my brain what says: "What if it's something more than that?" Hoyo does everything for a reason so I can't really shake this suspicion off

  12. hey! Loved the video and i might have some unknown lore. You see i take greek and latin this year has only been my second year though but I have seen those references to greek and latin culture like we all know like the helios is named after the greek god of the sun. Helios. And that in enkonomiya there are greek names. But there was something that cought my eye. You see to level up the statues we need the oculus. and oculus is latin for eyes so maybe that means that the oculi are the eyes of the seven or something else. Also during the part were you talked about the removal of greater lord rukhadevata in the background you can see a grand flourishing area but this suposedly looks like the desert before the calamity of king deshret. But in the picture before that it shows the desert not as an oasis but as a sandy desert So how does that work. I hope I was of some use and have a nice day!
