Eula isn't irrelevant especially when people still care about her. Glad I got my Eula back in 2021 lol
As monster hunter player who wants his runs almost perfect so I restart the whole quest when I die or when I had bad AI, I didn't mind. But monhun isn't everyone's cup of tea anyway.
You wanna try interesting physical comp ? try fischl physical with 300 crit damage with 0 crit rate. If you utilize every single thing the game offer, you can pull it off, any attack specifically hit the head will always be a crit, hence the build. Back in the day people cheesing out that build to clear the abyss but now we have more option, so she return to normal electro.
For the reaction, superconduct have one aspect that people usually forgot because it's too minor, when you trigger superconduct there is a splash of cryo damage kinda like anemo spread but it's cryo only, if you ever sail through inazuma there will be an electro spot with a few cryo slime nearby and if you ever get hit by them ONCE, you will be permanent stun lock into your dead with constantly being damage with cryo through superconduct. If they ever want superconduct to be a thing it has to be like that, constant trigger of cryo/electro for damage and it has to has really low icd otherwise it wouldn't work, even if they make it 0.5 or 1s icd for the reaction with specific character, it would be way better than it is right now with standard 2s-ish icd
I'm having the sneaky suspicion that Snezhnaya will have an overhaul/buff to physical, if anything bcs of the existence of shatter
How will Mikaβs synergy be with Physical Jean?
Eula big number so donβt matter
Honestly, Mika doesn't give me what I want for my Eula. I want a non-anemo grouper that also buffs phys damage. Well, that and I want superconduct to go the way of the dodo. It cripples team possibilities, which is a bad thing when phys can't handle shields well. So, a non-anemo grouper that can do superconduct by itself (and I do mean that debuff, so you can't stack it with superconduct), that also buffs phys damage. Or maybe an artifact set that the four piece bonus is the superconduct debuff, again, non-stacking, so we can slap that on a support, akin to VV. And then change super conduct to something less niche, and also useful enough that, it helps to have it happen more than 1x per 10s.
"[Mono] a prefix that means βone, only, single,β as in monochromatic, having only one color." It doesn't mean monotonous at all. "Mono-Elemental Teams" refers to teams using one element. You can extrapolate and say it's monotonous to play such team but mono definitely doesn't stand for that.
That crit fishing is part of the reason why I pulled on this weapon banner for Dehya's claymore. Before I was using the battle pass weapon Serpent Spine to insure I had 100% crit with cryo resonance. But that weapon loses stacks when you get hit and has a "required" on field time to build them up. But this weapon actually rewards you with more damage when you get hit, so its a good improvement for the way I play my Eula.
The only problem left is the AOE range, and I have thought about this over the years since I have had her. If they had made it so her stacking mechanic also increase the range of her AOE, so that when at max stacks her AOE range was equal to Nahida's burst dome, then it would fix Eula for me. She would hit just about everything if I could get enough stacks!
As it is now most Eula players just get high constellations or swing a few times then swap out at low stacks, hoping the damage will be enough before any of the opponents can move far enough away.

Anyway, good video!
Who are you and where are my presidents?
I still play Eula because she's hot and Idc much about elemental reactions.
Still having fun playing Eula after all this time, tho I have long abandoned the traditional Hypercarry Eula comps, and I believe those hypercarry comps are the main reason ppl get so tired of her so easily, nothing is more tilting than banking 90% or more of the team dmg output in one single char, only to watch it fall apart as that dmg fails to hit, doesn't crit…etc, and you have to start the rotation all over…this is a issue common to all hypercarry teams save one or two, but it's exceptionally apparent in Eula due to her damage being back-loaded.
Mika…is simply a Bennett alternative for these hypercarry comps, and not even a great one, being completely useless before c6 and even at c6 adds more ER issues to what is already a somewhat complicated hypercarry team to use, he is not going to going to fix anything, quite the opposite.
Eula, Eula herself is fine, if you really want to use her, there are plenty of multi-dps comps ft. her that are much more lenient and stress free, having a much more evenly distributed team dmg, that don't fall apart as soon as things go wrong, these include, Hyperbloom Eula, Multiple Electro subs + Nahida + Eula variants, Double Geo Eula variants, etc…with Hyperbloom Eula being the best choice for c0 Eula.
Solid points all around! Although I donβt think theyβre going to rehaul/change superconduct. If they are going to do it, it will probably be through a characterβs kit like it was for bloom and nilou. Thatβs how Iβd do it if I wanted to maximise the profits.
in my opinion the only untouched physical reaction so far is shatter. And they are probably gonna go for shatter before they go for superconduct.
I honestly have high hopes for physical, given the makeover electro damage got from dendro; these days even keqing is a solid damage dealer, and she was considered top 3 worst units in the game by many before 3.0.
I do have a bias because I love Eula, both in gameplay and design, but I donβt think hoyoverse is going to leave an entire system completely unfinished. I have great expectations regarding Varka, both for gameplay, physical meta, and hopefully character design because Iβm tired of all the characters looking young, thin and shaved. I want a big beefy old hairy mothertrucker. I understand Chinese beauty standards are very specific but please give the rest of the world some variety.
Eula's thighs have have the most synergy with my heart, I'll keep playing her as my main carry
Commenting for the algo! π The parodies were fun! For this one I like how you focus on one character and the background changes in terms of lighting like there is change of time as you analyze Eula. Character growth is what I got from it. Awesome information content!!
I can't wait for a Nilou rerun. I can't wait to dance on my enemies and watch them die while I basically do nothing π.
Unless they release a physical carry stronger than Eula, I don't think she will become completely "irrelevant" so-to-speak.
Physical kokomi supremacy
Enemy monsters suffer more damage with combination of elements than with physical damage.
If there were more enemies vulnerable to physical damage, I guess some players would have at least the motivation to invest in a team for that.
The only game mechanics that favours from that are very rare bounties.
Lets face it, the numbers popping up from a combination of elements are satisfying. What can be done with physical damage and geo to make them more appealing?
Nololololololololoooooo
Mika can't even save Mika π€£ π
"Every character can be a phisical carry" I would like to see a physical carry Thoma. π Who can be used in overworld at least..
Who cares anout Eula
phys is alive? holy F
bring razor back…..
It was always irrelevant, from release. None of the new underwhelming characters can change that.
nice podcast. this was more dmg than eula ever does kekw. just kidding.
was enjoying this^^
pls do a shenhe video hype up talk video for me to get the time over faster
I don't think it's a "fun" factor that is keeping people from playing Eula.
She is fun to play, she is just not very effective, backloaded damage will never be as effective as you just exploding something right away.
What good does doing 3mil damage on an enemy when they only have 300k left?
I think what Eula needs is to move some of the power from her burst to the rest of her kit, which is something that I feel like a C6 Mika might be able to do.
Another problem is that they keep releasing more and more enemies with high physical resistance, it makes it less viable.
As a Eula main since her release in 1.5, i don't agree with everything you said there. Yes, there are people who use her just for crit fishing with like 20-40% crit rate, but that's not really entertaining. I personally always use her with Rosaria ( crit build ) in team in abyss runs, and like that i can guarantee she crits over 90% of the time with 600-800k nukes. She is my pride and joy in genshin and one of the best characters i have. I have skipped most of the characters since Yelan release in 2.7, and now i have enough primos to get C6 Eula and get her weapon also. And if i'm lucky in Shenhe banner i might get Mika with a few constellations also.
So now all Eula mains transferred over to Nilou interesting.
Got Eula initial run, as I mistakenly thought she would be a cryo Diluc. Total clown move. She has never had a team, I hated her gameplay. Doubt Mika can change my mind there
So in terms of kit value. Eula is their worst made unit then?
Shatter and supercnduct need buffs. Buffing shatter would make Eula viable with hydro characters as well as expand her use
I mean what if they somehow integrate shockwaves in more physical kits? Like how in abyss or certain events, a huge influx of physical dmg happens when you do certain things. What if they can somehow revamp that and integrate shockwave dmg into Physical Characters to make them more interesting? Itβs a reach but that could be something that would make Physical units a little more interesting.
I don't care. I just want Eula. I just want her damn rerun to come out! I'm getting sick and tired of Hoyoverse dragging their heels, acting like Eula is a figment of our imagination! I am not spending any more money on this godforsaken game until she arrives! Vengeance will be mine!
Your arguments about simplicity can be applied to hyperbloom but you donβt realise that
To me, I really don't like how Eula is not fun in the overworld, since she is Burst dependent and it's frustrating when she misses the burst
Walrus what do i do i asked my friend to summon eula last year 2021 and i said to him she does a big nuke but now my tartag is so busted he nukes in international for 450k and his eula nukes for 380k π₯²π₯² and now my friend says i scammed him
