  1. This stream was a barrel of laughs…for all the wrong reasons.

Perfect opportunity to make Jojokes and say that BITEZ ZA DUSTO has been activated. We never reached the last primo code. GOLD EXPERIENCE REQUIEM DA!

  2. Bro, I legit thought it was Veyn's wifi. I was like: "Yep. I'm done" 😀 "I'll just watch YT's stream at 11."
    I didn't know this was a Twitch issue. That's horrible….

  3. The skin tones I know that we'll see in Sumru are vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, and chocolate at the most. And like you said if all the native people (ncps and majority of its playable characters) of this region are only one shade of color when it's not consistent with reality where there's multiple shades of color. Then it's on hoyoverse. So let's hope for the best.

The desert is where I expect to see the majority of colored citizens.

  4. the fact that the sumeru archon leaks have a way lighter skintone than klee is literally crazy and just stupid considering the fact that sumeru is based on south asia or from what i’ve heard, a place that has a majority of people that are rich in melanin.
(edit: if they dont make atleast 2 new characters in sumeru have some sort of melanin, i wont be suprised if hoyoverse gets cancelled, it’ll be their fault.)

  5. Doesn't seem like Sumeru people will have a lot of melanin. We can just look back to the npcs we met who are from Sumeru, they're all white. Cmiiw but I don't remember a single one of them being tan

  6. So how come only pretty much twitch was broken? Others are saying that the other language streams are working fine and I watched the english stream here on yt which also had no problems. So was it just a problem due to mainly twitch?

  7. Sumeru is divided into two regions, The Jungle and The Desert, all the NPC we've met so far are from the Jungle, I believe Sumeru is based of the Middle East, and some Western Asia like India.

Middle east very diverse on our current time. Which reflects sumeru having scholars from all over Teyvat.

It is diverse, just not the diversity people are looking for. I'm sure there will be desert sumerians on the Academia too.

The Academia is most likely located on the forest region, thus most of them will have paler skin and characters like Cyno are from the Desert which have darker skin tone.

People have seen half of sumeru and assumed it is everything.

(The girl at the beginning said "Desert" and "Jungle" doesn't get a long. My theory is that one of the topics on Sumeru story would be about the conflict between the two Sumerian race)
If my theory is correct about the story, then it would be a slap to the face of people complaining, Because it is diversity and racial discrimination being tackled on the main story. The exact thing they have issue with. It's also actually a really good story topic

  8. As I watched the stream I thought it was my WLAN as usual. But then I found out that it wasn't my fault and a little part of me was like:
"The world shall know my bad internet connection! muhahaha!"

So sry at everybody for enjoying your pain😔

  9. Middle Eastern people are not colored people. They are Caucasians. They are not Mongoloids nor Negroids. Just like people living above mediterranian and across atlantic. It's not about weebs, it's about basic anthropology. Next time, if people talk like "mid-easterners are black" or something, they should look closely into the face of their masters who generously provide them with oil that they can't live without, for damn sake.

  10. when i saw the ncps and all were pale
i just burst out laughing bc hoyoverse can't be serious rn, literally everybody has the same skin color, put some melanin on them its not that hard, i'm so dissappointed istg. I'm not suprised tho and i don't wanna hear the "rainforest" argument bc it makes zero sense.
Also thanks for speaking out of it bc its actually insane what hoyoverse is pulling. Also notice how all the melanin characters are 4 stars 😹
The game is almost 2 years old & there isnt ONE 5 star melanin character smh.

  11. Im not looking for a fight or something but as an Arabian, i don't really get offended by the skin tone or anything (even tho I'm tan) and most of the Arabians doesn't as well. Because lets be real first of all Hoyoverse didnt mention that IT IS a certain country (Middle east/Egypet/India) we ourselves assumed that and yes its obvious that its INSPIRED by them but that doesnt mean everything should be accurate. There is already quite few of tan/brown chars so mostly they just dont pay attention to NPC as usual. Its a game after all there is no need to waste time and effort just for such small things IMO. There are more important stuff such as including Arabic translation, a lot of Arabians can't read English so they cant understand or enjoy the content as it should be, we are trying to send suggestions but sadly no response since we dont really have a lot of biiig Genshin content creators. Again its my opinion sorry if i offended someone but its a game no need to connect it to irl stuff and we all know how its hard to capture a certain culture without messing up.

  12. I feel that "escape from reality" is not so wrong in the sense that escaping from reality and having the privilege of being able to do it is so white people, that it makes sense that they are all white haha.
