Disclaimer : It was very hard to determine who is really "underrated" — but every character in this video is very commonly undervalued. Even characters who have been on the rise recently, like Xiangling, are usually appreciated but often valued less than other characters (like hu tao/diluc in xiangling's case) which is why I deem these characters greatly underrated. So I included the STRONGEST Underrated Characters (including characters that are considered just "good" instead of "amazing").
Also i asked my theorycrafter friends (basically Zajef77 lol) and they agree that these characters are significantly undervalued & underused by many/most.
Me who has Xiangling lvl 70 already ascend 70-80, Beidou lvl 75. And just got Jean like 2 days ago lvl 50..
Also Xingqiu and fischl at lvl50 (I should really lvl them)

I also actually use Geo MC with Zhongli and they work really well.
xiangling never left my team since AR 20,she is so broken people dont understand how she can 30k vaporize every pyronado oscillation

Jean is not getting enough praise? She is awesome but she is a 5* so most people dont have her…And since she is no new 5* you get her even less often and new stuff is hyped unlike old
Last time i was here , Childe was a Main DPS , my childe is my Main carry , at C0 with Skyward harp he does 15k damage per slash without buffs or vaporize (now at C6 with R3 Amos is fucking 21k damage , but let's talk about some F2P damage here).
Childe is just an end-game kill machine , you just need way more resin investment on his talent levels , artifacts , and obviously the right comp for him , but definitely worth it.
I'm not using them bc I don't have them 🙂
I agree on the Barbara's defense, people highly overrate how bad her E skill is, when for the most part you will barely get frozen and even if you do, the long time it takes for the skill to proc again will give you enough time to avoid being frozen again.
I do want to use Beidou, but I just got her, and I'm presently making Yanfei, Xingqiu, Kaeya, Geo Aether, and Rosaria stronger. I just have too many plates in my hand, that I have to postpone making Beidou stronger.
I am now currently trying to revive beidou she was my partner with kaeya through out my genshin adventures (AR20-45)

Everyone can be a dps even barbara or kazuha if kazuha is only support or extra element dealer he still can be dps

my beidou is fully maxed out and she's a fuckin beast on the field. she can solo all the weekly bosses so the ppl who don't give her a chance/won't build her are definitely missing out

I really would like Albedo ability to just activate when ever an enemy shield receives damage as well allowing him to help chip away at shields…using him on bosses gives me BoarderLands 3 flash back with the eletro boss and being the only char in the game that cant use my main ability (throw down a shield) because it blows up 1 sec after you lay it down

Bruh beidou is so good as a main dps why force support her when as a long time player who capped himself at ar45 I can get her auto to do 5k damage and a perfect E to do 21k she's so good

The damage amplification is hilariously strong, the cc is out question and elemental mastery buff(lets not even talk about it while even a 5 star char like kazuha only have it in the constilations)
