i remember having a hard time last year because i was about to start college. it was honestly so scary to start over again with meeting new people and adjusting to a new workload. i stumbled on this playlist at some point last summer and it reminded me how much i loved exploring gaa and genshin in general. i remembered hopping on discord with friends as we played because it was the only thing to do in the pandemic, and how cozy and safe those memories feel.
im doing better now and am adjusting to my freshman year quite smoothly, but i always remember to return here every once in a while. i'm happy with how far i've come. 🙂
You're alone in your room Covid's been going on for a while now. Nothing to do. Chilling in the archipelago losing track of time as the cutscenes play out. You're not thinking about how this moment is fleeting. Your computer screen consumes more of your vision as the sun goes down. You play into the night and your mind decides to keep going but your body decides to leave the game music on and drift to sleep. Waking up, you have no idea how your character got where they are or what time it is. But you're happy. Some of the best sleep of your life. Funny how long I'm going to remember this moment just before falling asleep forever from a silly, stupid free to play game. Music like this really makes these little events stand out. What a beautiful freaking game. My god.
Wow. The music for this event is surprisingly good ! I have stopped playing Genshin though, still coming back only for the music.
this is so nostalgic, it reminds me of the happiness i had this summer playing genshin as well as farming for kazuha in 1.5 lol
I love Mondstadt !
Don't get me wrong, the 2022 Summer Island was amazing and the stories were awesome……….. but….. It wasn't the same…

I never played Genshin Impact and don't know why some people hate this game so much, but the soundtrack is a beautiful artwork, and pure chill
