To be clear, in the final section about Raiden's potential to enable "dual-carry" compositions, the conclusion does not extend beyond Raiden's ability to enable team compositions to use an on-field battery asynchronously with another unit like Beidou. This was added into the video because early calculations are indicating that Raiden does enough damage to warrant "extending" a team's rotation to battery another on-field DPS.

  4. She also requires more investment than any other character in the game due to having to balance a extra stat (ER) that most carries don't have to worry about. While her C2 is nice, If you have the investment, you don't need it to do insane burst damage with her.

  6. The first time i saw her, i knew i would mostly using her E not her burst. My Raiden is built full EM and she can proc 16-18k overload every 2.5s (or even higher with 4 pcs VV buff) and she also boost my team' burst with 100% up time. The EM build can utilize most of her kits very well.

  13. instead of "high burst cost unit" she better paired with "quick burst units" to quickly fill her resolve stack
    I go with xingqiu and klee and boi they can refill the resolve stack just with two burst rotation.

    Not to mention her elemental skill work well with klee burst. Watch as the laser and eye throw the enemy around while chasing them lol.

  21. Meta-wise, she's not worth it because she needs investment as high as any main DPS dealer but lower DPS output than average. Electro is just a really bad element (not a surprise at this point) and because of that, she lacks versatility in many team comps excluding the national team where she can shine the most with 20% higher damage output compared to Kazuha/Sucrose.

  24. Here's a serious question for those that say stuff like, she is like a DPS because she has on field time. One of the main complaints about Yoimiya I constantly heard was that if she was a main DPS, her infusion had to much downtime. Yoimiya is infused for 10sec with an 18sec cool down. And that's on her E skill. In comparison Raidens E skill takes a second to cast and then you switch off. Now, her Q which is the big part of her kit lasts 7sec with an 18sec cool down. So lower uptime then Yoimiya. Clearly then she isn't taking up that much field time based in previous Yoimiya arguments and clearly is a support.

    Personally, I don't see the issue with how her kit works. You pop your E, use your other characters skills and bursts with a bonus damage, then when done go back to Raiden and pop her Q and use her to fill up your teams ultimates. If you build your team well you'll get extra damage from your other 3 characters and Raiden does pretty respectful damage while also being your team battery. The time she's on field overall feels negligible. Honestly it takes me as much time to use Zhongli E and Q for the shield and burst damage.

  25. There are no problems with raiden its just that her basic atk and skill has such low atk ratio its like zhongli's basic atk lmao other than that she is good i love her and i do not regret pulling

  28. Why does no Content Creator mention the HIGH Electro output attribute of Electro characters? MC/Lisa/Beidou's Burst, Fischl's Oz, and Raiden's Skill?
    5:25 And by mediocre personal damage, I assume it's meant to reference her Normal Attacks and not her Burst-time.

  30. Great video as always! I'm kinda regretting on pulling for engulfing lightning since it took me the whole epitomized path and i got two weapons i don't want, the unforged and wolf's gravestone (2nd copy). I could've guaranteed myself a c2 Raiden instead and just stuck to r5 the catch.

  37. The good thing about Raiden is you dont have to C6 whale on her to get more than 50% boost. You can stop at C3 (or a must stopping point).

    Her first 3 constellations absorbed all her big pp numbers that you usually get at C1-C6. Unfortunately absorbed including some C0 numbers.

  46. I think her strength lies in her ability to unlock comp that won’t work traditionally (though most of them not meta) due to energy constraints.On top of that she acts as a “lubricant” on the energy department for most meta teams without a significant lost of damage.
    This might be very valuable for some people
    On the other hand people who have well established team probably won’t see that as a value
