As every off-field supports that mihoyo will be releasing is a indirect buff for Childe.
Easily the most criminally underrated 5 star in the game.
people talk here about how good he is with Xiangling, which is true, but don't forget Raiden! If you go with an Electrocharged team, you can use Raidens burst and do big damage until Childe's E comes up again, and his riptide + Raidens Desirae both proccing is so satisfying

In europe, russia(all sng really) and china childe is most hated unit because of his lore and personality that's why i am skipping him. Cuz i hate him as well even if his ult would give me another ten pull everytime i press it, i am still skipping him that's all.
I remember when i pull for Rosa on her release i said "if i get childe, i will start new acc".
Been playing childe almost 1 year (11 november is comiiiingg). Gladly to pull c6 for him at any rerun he come. But everytime i pull him, i never get him before his banner ends 😫😫😫. Iam at AR 57 currently 👌🏻
For co-op reason, I leveled up his normal attack to 10. It’s not recommended if you’re not a co-op player. But I play co-op regularly and I love Childe, so I decided to make the investment. Absolutely no regrets. His charge attack riptide actually packs a ton. I find myself using his charged attacks for smaller enemies even in solo open world. He’s personally the most fun character I’ve ever played so far.
Not rolling on next banner as free to play is a very stupid thing to do. Thoma is a perfect shield replacement if you dont want to roll on zhongli. Not to mention he brings pyro buffs.
Yeah I think we will see him again in Sumaru and every other nation after that. He is the true Mihoyo main character.
I don't care to have him on my main account as I'm saving for C1 Hu Tao and then a new Claymore. But on my 2nd account I just got him, that's the third time in a row my account has won the 50/50 (Ayaka, Kokomi, now Childe) when on my main account I keep losing every 50/50 🙃
At least my 2nd account is good for trying characters I will probably never have on my main account
I got him accidentally when I was trying to pull for Chongyun (was supposedly saving my 5 star roll for Hu Tao), but so far, he's pretty good and fun to play since you can use him as a ranged dps or melee dps. But I just hope I win my next 50/50 pity roll
Bet Childe's gonna be like xiangling, he'll get stronger and stronger each patch.

In my WL 1 account, he can hit almost 10k already like wtf?? My main account only hit 5k at WL 3!!
Imo Childe is one of the most * f2p friendly carries along with Eula. He does not need much to set up. Xiangling + inazuma bow… and you are good to go!

that's also what I realized, you won't really have a problem as long as you don't play like shit. I decided to pull for him because I was disappointed on itto's kit (boring playstyle again). I'm really bored on genshin and I needed someone who's fun to play, childe save me from quitting ehe.
i loved childe because aesthetically he intrigued me but i was incredibly surprised how fun he is to play – the last character i enjoyed playing this much had been kazuha when he was first released and i only started playing genshin in late july. even with lvl. 1 talents at level 90 he was able to do 60k on his vape burst with the help of bennett and kazuha, he's amazing!
