  1. Tbh with the pain of my grandma before she died the only regret was begging her to not die sooo yeah i agree it will be trumatizing and happy if my grandma got revied as a zombie with her memories intac but i ask if she feel the same pain if not then i bet me and my family will cherish every single moment and go to everysingle location she want for old time sake it is better to see stuff one last time than dying in bed peacefully

  2. What's interesting is the parallels between Baizhu and Dottorre.

One is that both are so invested in their research and is willing to do some very dubious moral thing to achieve it. What's different is their motives. Baizhu's is to help save lives while Dottorre is seeking knowledge for the sake of knowledge.

Another is how they treat human lives. Dottore doesn't give a shit about it as obvious from Collei, his poor subordinates that died and many others. Meanwhile Baizhu is so attached to his humanity and treats human life as something that should be saved and preserved for as long as he can manage it.

  3. Hi hi! I voiced the little man Ayu in the story quest! Just wanted to pop in and say I’ve been watching your Genshin videos for over a year, and I love your content! I’m so glad you enjoyed 🥺💚

  4. Baizhu's quest was such a good one. And I don't know if it's because it was a Liyue based story quest, but it felt kind of "nostalgic" as in early game sort of vibe. Does that makes sense? I think it is bc it feels a lot more intimate, with few characters participating in it. The cutscene animation was absolutely gorgeous too ❤️🐍

  5. Just finished watching your reaction to this quest and I must say it was the best character story quest we had since a long time. Baizhu was on my must-have list since I first saw him in Archon quest and I love how he turned out with his motives of the selfless doctor yet still with a little dose of secrets. We still have some time until the banners are gone so I wish everyone to bring their snake man home! Great video as always Bran, I'm glad you enjoyed this quest as much as I did

  6. Shout outs to Fiaorox in the chat, least down Baizhu main LMAO

but this quest single-handedly got me liking Baizhu as my second fave, and this quest dragged me back from Star Rail lmao I just wanted Baizhu before since tall guy and a new chara but after his quest, he just got me by the grip and never let go. Childe's still my number one but Baizhu took 2nd, no questions asked there.

  7. 55:16 the thing about Jialiang being so set on finding his wife, i think, is precisely for Ayu’s sake. Bran said “if he loses both parents, he’ll be alone” but i believe that is exactly why Jialiang is so determined. Think about it, he doesnt know how much time he has left, for all they know he could die at any second, so he wants to make sure his wife is okay and alive before he dies, that way Ayu is not left alone. If they dont find her, Ayu will eventually be left alone… or at least i think that’s what was going through Jialiang’s mind

  8. If you’re interested in the discussions about Baizhu’s views on life, you should watch chill with aster’s video on the debate of life and death which compares Baizhu and Hu Tao’s philosophy.

  9. If I remember…

The Qi of Yore is the world quest in Qince Village. It is a dragon-like god that was sealed by Morax and turned into fragments spread across the land. It's husk or body became what is now Qince Village.

But I believe that this God was pure and then erosion changed this God into a mindless beast.

Maybe somehow this God deflated into a smaller fragment of itself and managed to escape the seal. It was on the brink of death when a doctor managed to see it before it dies.

It's a bit of a stretch but when I saw Xiao's reaction, he seemed very familiar with Changseng.

  10. I do agree with you Bran about the outcome. There is a difference between saving a life and life at all costs. I'm not a fan but that is my opinion. Hoyo does know how to pull our heart

  11. Tbh, I feel like it's important for Paimon to ask and voice these type of questions. Like the whole "Doesn't using your life force hurts you?" and then just having everyone in chat calling her dumb and stuff.
But she asks because she cares about Baizhu's well-being and honestly does not understand why someone would continuously use such a dangerous method if it hurts them. It also helped us find out that Changsheng isn't some parasitic snake sucking Baizhu's life force, but rather she does care and help tries to balance his Qi even if she sounds rude about it.

  13. Could never fathom People's conspiracy theory regarding Baizhu's endgame. Sure he can be… Unpredictable to say the least charging Zhong Li 3 million Mora for a "rare" plant to practically giving freebies on medical checkup on a poor village

  14. I had no interest in Baizhu ever since he appeared for the first time, but this quest made me show so much respect for him. I always thought he was this super sus doctor, when really he's been risking his life to help everyone and to end this generational "trauma" caused by the contract. Every time he coughed it broke my heart 🙁 There are many genshin chars with death flags, but Baizhu's are just plain obvious and it saddens me. I don't care that he's pixels, he's too kind for this world.

  15. Considering how heavily tied Changsheng and Baizhu is to Chenyu Vale. I wouldn't be surprised if his 2nd Story Quest's will also introdice us to Chenyu Vale.

  16. 1:27:49 dont jinx it!!!!!!!!!😭
(but BaiZhu is definitely the self sacrifice type. Dacrifice himself just to save others, because he believe that it's his responsibility as a doctor, but that is what i love about this character.)😭

  18. This quest really touched me just because lately after the release of hsr there are many who think that genshin looks bad when compared to hsr.

and inevitably that made my expectations low for this quest until it ended up like this

  19. This was an interesting quest, it gave Hu Tao a chance to show her more serious side and the topic is very intriguing.

Maybe the only true immortality that humans can achieve in Teyvat is whatever 'poison' that caused the Khaenrians immortality, if so Hutao's stance is very reasonable. Goodness knows if Qiqi will always have her sanity as the years go by, makes me wonder if there is an elixir of immortality in Teyvat that doesn't have a huge price to pay.

  20. As a Xiao main ,I hate Xiao stand as much as you do . The funniest fact is that his burst actually releases him from his karmic depts so by stopping his burst they're actually hurting him more lmao
