Hello everyone! Today we will be talking about the advantages and disadvantages for the lineup in the upcoming 5.0 banners, for those of you who are planning to pull any of the character coming in Phase 1, since Hoyo leaked the full banner under the Special Program. Let’s begin. Hoyo has now confirmed the upcoming banner lineup for Phase 1 of version 5.0, which is unusual since full lineups are rarely revealed this early. However, this time the entire roster was presented to us duing the Special Program, when the developers were explaining the new banner system called Capturing Radiance. The four-stars for Mualani and Kazuha’s banners include Bennett, Kachina and Xinyan. There is a chance Bennett and Xinyan could be placeholders, but we won’t know for sure until Hoyo reveals the banners again closer to release.

Kachina’s release is confirmed for Phase 1, and she will also be available for free through the Natlan Archon Quest. Her usefulness in exploration makes her a valuable asset. The inclusion of Bennett and Xinyan, however, has sparked some mixed reactions. There has been some rumours that Bennett will be obtainable through a World Quest in Natlan, but if he really is in the banner the likelihood of this happening might be less. Bennett is undeniably a strong character overall, but he showed up in 3 banners during the Fontaine Arc, as well as being given for free during 4.0.

Let’s talk about Xinyan. Her last banner appearance was in version 4.4, and several other characters are arguably highly due for their reruns, such as Heizou who hasn’t appeared since Version 3.7. With Kazuha also getting a rerun, Heizou would have been a fitting choice as one of the four-stars in the banner. Additonally, there is characters like Charlotte and Chevreuse that are still awaiting their reruns. Typically, developers include at least one four-star with the same element as the five-star, but it seems Hoyo is changing up a lot of patterns this time around.

The four-star weapons included in the Weapon banner are The Stringless, which is an excellent option for characters like Fischl or Yelan. Given Yelan’s presence in the current Banner, this weapon is worth considering to pull for. The Favonius Sword is also featured and is a great match for characters like Bennett or Kazuha.

Overall, the four-star characters in this banner may not stand out for long-time players, with Kachina being the exception. However, those interested in pulling for Mualani shouldn’t be discouraged, as she is expected to be one of the top DPS characters from Natlan. For those wanting to pull Kazuha, it’s crucial to note that Xilonen, the upcoming Geo character with capabilities similar to Kazuha’s, is anticipated to arrive in version 5.1. This might be Hoyo’s way of encouraging players to pull for Kazuha just before Xilonen’s release.
