Something that might be worth thinking about is the "Lesser" in Kusanali's title. According to several friends of mine that play CN, "Lesser" may not necessarily be referring to her status within Sumeru's society, but rather her age or stature. I believe this would also make sense given that she is the youngest of the current Seven.

On the side note, every time most people say Sumeru as su-mu-ru instead of su-meh-ru, I just feel sad. Now I know how people feel about when others say Mondstadt and Liyue incorrectly. I think in game, Lisa is the only one who says it correctly. It's her "More About Lisa IV" line.
The first dendro character will be dendro traveller. But i think something will be wrong with the statue and we will NOT get dendro ;-;

Kinda surprised that you haven't considered that the theme of the sumeru archon quest could be about censorship and the control of information.
The whole concept of "Knowledge is a commodity" sent red flags to my mind when Yae Miko first mentioned this. If the Traveler wants information from anyone in Sumeru- especially a high level scholar from the academia, I feel like they will ask for knowledge of equal value. Whether its some random trivia thats obscure or permission to have them do an experiment on the Traveler… knowledge takes on many forms.
I feel like there will be a secret service/fbi like group in Sumeru who keeps watch on everyone who comes in and out of the nation and what information they have exchanged. If certain info starts to cause trouble, they would spread misinformation on purpose to control the flow of information. Or u know they just hire the Fatui to do this for them on top of facilitating the underground illegal experiment dungeon for closet mad scientists.
I just hope the Sumeru academia's treatment of the students dont trigger my trauma for research.

I'm excited for Sumeru because it might mean more Honkai connections, if you don't know one of the characters in Honkai protect a realm called Sumeru. Ei looking like Mei is just imaginary tree shenanigans, but Sumeru itself might be the first direct connection.
For some context, Sumeru originally belonged to a man named Su, wielder of the signet of Bodhi, represented by a leaf, and the Bodhi tree has been tied to Su himself. Before Su became a psychic superhuman, he was originally a doctor in the previous era of Honkai, trying to find a cure for the infection, he was then infected himself but administered the cure. He came to know the immense cost of the cure and decided to join a organization fighting the Honkai. Long story short, in an attempt to avoid complete extinction, mankind in that era made sacrifice upon sacrifice to save themselves, committing atrocities for the sake of survival. Su was the most humanitarian of the doctors in his organization and came to regret many of the actions taken. He was one of 7 people to survive the apocalypse and restart humanity. His humanitarian nature eventually brought him into conflict with his best friend Kevin and they were both trapped in the sea of quanta, but we know that both are still alive, somewhere. I think Su's backstory has enough motivation behind it to influence the ideals of current Dendro archon, he knows what unretrained knowledge could bring.

I think the sumeru plot line would be about how a young ruler neglecting his nation and lacking experience to rule it and how corruption has plagued the nation and and probably cyno will be the one to ask us for help

I think the dendro archons job is to hide information dangerous to people about celestia, Archons etc.. so that people don't know about that which can be dangerous to the people, so she probably gives lies and fake information instead of the real truth.
That is probably why Danslief says about a push for folly right under her nose but she doesn't do anything against it.
Also how wisdom is her own enemy like really wise people can deduce that her job isn't to guide humanity into truth but to keep them away from knowledge.
Again the Oasis of knowledge is a Mirage in the desert of ignorance, she probably makes a Mirage of lies to satisfy the curious humans who are curious and not wise therefore due to thier ignorance accepts it, but the truly wise people finds something amiss about this and sees her against those who pursue knowledge.
She probably does it keep humanity safe as to prevent people from knowing these stuff and do something that celestia perceives as a Rebellion against celestia. Who knows maybe the entire Teyvat might get to know about Khaneri-ah and Celestia destroying them after Sumeru (atleast from the perspective of plot progression, Sumeru should be important and we might get to know about a lot of stuff.
