  1. Another disclaimer just to be safe: this is not a Faruzan hate video. Her issues are workable, but in the game’s hardest content, she is very very difficult to work with at low constellations without sacrificing a huge chunk of her value.

  2. I wouldn't have any problem with 4* characters potential locked behind C6, if we could get them with a finite amount of resources, the fact that you can spend thousands of rolls and not get a single copy of a character is the worst part of Genshin's gacha system.

  3. I hope, in compensation, she appears in banners that are not Wanderer’s. Maybe Xiao’s in the upcoming Rite??? Because I’m so tired of not getting Gorou because I’m unwilling to spend on Itto or not getting Kujou Sara because I never have any primogems saved when Raiden rolls round.

  4. A big problem for support characters is the immense power of Bennet. Powercreeping him would be very silly from a balancing perspective but if they are weaker no one would desire them. So specialised supports are the way to go.
That said hiding usability behind high Constellations is awful. They should be useful and playable at C0 and then only get better with Constellations.

  5. The fact that (a) you need Faruzan to make Wanderer top tier and (b) you need to spend 300 fates to get a useful variant of Faruzan (200 if you're lucky) may be a business decision to make people spend money, but in the long run it is detrimental to the game

  6. I think it's unfortunate that Faruzan is so investment-hungry when she shares the space with Gorou. They're both characters specifically designed to improve the viability of elements that don't benefit from reactions, but Gorou needs incredibly little investment because most of his value is based on his skill talent level, so he doesn't need good artifacts or weapons at all.

  7. Faruzan also runs at c0 with Burst at liv 10 provide a good buff for anemo and debuff 30% res. For me the problem is characters like Layla who do absolutely nothing new and do absolutely nothing better than the characters that came out 2 years ago.

  8. You talk about sucky C0 4 stars as if it's a new thing but there's been a few others who are pretty bad at C0 since forever. Biggest example being Xinyan who's pretty sucky at C0 for not providing the damage like Razor nor the utility like Noelle. Only after getting some constellations does she start to stand on a similar level to them. So for me, Faruzan doesn't indicate a new trend or problem because it isn't new at all.

  9. Sara isn’t viable at all under C6. She only provides an attack buff for only 6 secondes.
Faruzan at C0 is less strong than C0 Gorou but it does et mean that she is not viable at this point.
Give her a Fav now, an ER sand ans with some ER sub stats procs in other artifacts and you will easily have more than 250% ER on her. That might be enough most the time.
Her C2 and C4 make her easier to play and her C6 is broken.

The real problem is to not have any pity system for 4* that are on banner. To lock some 4* characters under constellations is a thing but to not be sure to get any Faruzan (or any 4* item) even if you spend hundreds of € or $ is a real issue that miHoYo should think about.

There is more and more 4* characters in Genshin and to have them on banner will become more rare so we need a new system for 4* pulls.

  10. imo genshins balancing team seems rly scared of powercreep which is fair since it isnt exactly a good thing but of all the games ive played genshin is the first one ive seen where its reverse powercreep in that older (4*) units are leagues better compared to newer ones (c0 benny, xiangling, xingqiu and sucrose are serviceable whereas faruzan here for example is so constellation dependant, its either that or that character’s kit’s true potential is locked behind future updates like kuki and thoma) honestly its a shame since if they made these character’s kits a bit better, they’d see more play and viability and bennett and co wouldnt be revered as much

  11. Well being testing her the past days with Heizou, on 280% ER i have no energy issues on C0, same set i use on Xianglin. To be honest she generates more energy than Xianling and have great multipliers. Everytime an anemo. geo or electro character is added people just complain…

Xianling is consider one of the best char in the game and generates 0 enery for herself and have also an ulti with 80 cost….

Faru C6 makes her icnredible as is for Gorou and Sarah. but she is still playable as they are before

  12. People should really try playing Faruzan themselves. A lot of these youtubers exaggerate Faruzan's so called "problems" way more than they should. Kujo Sara at C0 is NOT easier to play than C0 Faruzan.

  13. as long they didnt update the star glittershop with new character any *4 support need cons will be bad for me. Look here, i have rosaria when she first time release at C0, now i still have C0 Rosaria, its like…. 2 years man and didnt get another Rosaria. my kaeya? C4 thats why i more preffer Kaeya than Rosaria.

  14. I’m a relatively new player to Genshin but as someone who’s played tcgs and other various income based games I just want to say while I do mostly agree with you you would be surprised how often I see people not calculate the “bad feel” factor when evaluating something like this and usually if the community doesn’t draw a line in the sand the suits will eventually keep pressing in this direction. Don’t know if that’ll be the case with Genshin but I’ve seen it happen enough to not put it past anyone
