Mihoyo prioritizes new players, because they are still in the honeymoon phase and are more likely to spend, play longer and not complain. This isn't a thing against new players(we were all new), it's Mihoyo who have dropped the ball, they don't care about your time or if the do are very bad at communicating it.

All i have to say about getting to AR 55 and above is, that, if you're not a Streamer or a YouTuber then something's wrong. Statistically to get to that point you need to play a lot…and i mean A LOT. Personally the Genshin Impact AR system has made me realise how addicted to video games in general i am. The fact that i would spend hours grinding in Genshin but not do anything else actually productive in real life, is very sad. If you're a Streamer/Youtuber then obviously it's fine since it's your job to spend hours on these things. But for someone with no real achievable end goal (in real life) it's definitely a bad thing. I'm a fine arts uni student and i spend hours upon hours on my pc playing video games. I don't want to stop playing completely, but i do want to lessen the hours i play. I would like to take it down to 4 hours a day. Maybe even split them to 2+2, 2 in the noon and 2 in the evening. Very hard to accomplish without help to be honest. I love Genshin, but the amount of grind it requires is insane and stupid if you're someone who just wants to play casually. And the thing is I can't even get to the point where i play casually.
