  1. I don't know man.. your review kinda miss the point for me.

Theres no way you compared environments this both game when WW was taking post-apocalyptic sci-fi to the medieval fantasy world in Genshin. The setting of the world will affect the music, like genshin was doing great in exploration music but in WW doing much better on intens battle especially boss music

about story objectively we all can agreed chapter 1 – act 1 & 2 was rough, borring and not engaging. Act 3 & 4 build up for more lore, act 5 was fun and act 6 was so good with 10 time much better super epic climax boss fight if we compared to Genshin

and lastly coop in WW does not hurt the major combat mechanics because the core gameplay its how mastering your own kit character from circuit forte, echo build and the concerto with intro & outro skill which is the main mechanics and its still there in coop, but sadly you are not explain it

anyway because its still your experience so I do respect it, nice video bro

  2. Shooting puzzle for phone in Wuthering waves sucks, 20 tries and I can't finish it, it's too shaky!! Also echoes stats I get just sucks, I have way better luck in Genshin's artifacts.
I don't like being one shot, specially with my ping I get my echo summon gets wasted, in Wuthering waves.

  3. The ending of the 1st main quest was underwhelming. And that bit with Yangyang when she insists on staying behind (unprompted) like yeah go girl, no one's stopping you. What's with the whole speech for, get it moving😂 There's a disconnect between the urgency of the "war" and my connection with the country and its people. Who tf are yall anyway, I just got here 😂 and I'm immediately a hotshot. Everyone's kissing the ground I walk on. The combat's good. I don't know where I'll be able to get standard fates once the launch rewards have dried up. You don't get any when you level-up characters.

  4. I agree with you. WW story gets better eventually I like it. I prefer genshin's environment, WW is darker and sad looking but it's just a different vibe not a bad one.
Clearly WW is being very generous with rewards right now but it's gonna stop eventually and I'm curious to see how much powercreeps will come. They have a lot of characters at release and that could mean powercreep from future units, like in Honkai SR. Genshin has done very well not to pwercreep characters over the years, props to them

  5. Okay obviously this is nitpicky, and WuWa is in its infancy rn, but it feels empty to me. Like, there's so many npcs but barely any of them talk. Which I know a lot of ppl don't care about, but I really enjoy the little stories that random npcs have in Genshin (even if they don't lead to quests or anything). The attention to detail is impressive, and sometimes there's easter eggs! But WuWa could definitely improve on this front in future updates so

  6. i agree a lot with what you're saying for sure BUT a few things that i think are worth mentioning:

(note: i absolutely love genshin and don't plan on quitting anytime soon)

-in WW you can actually farm specific boss echos (artifacts) until the end of time without needing to use a single waveplate. meanwhile you HAVE to use resin in order to have a chance to maybe get a single piece of the specific set that you want. yes, sometimes it drops, sometimes it doesn't in WW, but at least you know that when it does, you're definitely getting that Thundering Mephis or Crownless or whatever. of course, you still need to hope and pray that you get the specific main stat that you want but in Genshin you also have to deal with the other stuff.

-storywise i don't think it's fair to compare a game that literally just started with a game that has had several updates with brand new story lines. Kuro has essentially just released the tutorial with some heavier story as you get near the end but hoyo did that too. honestly i can't even imagine only having mondstadt to explore. meanwhile, WW has a nice range of biomes/environments.

-the sound design and soundtrack far surpass genshin so far imo. I've never felt the soundtrack to be repetitive the way that i often feel about genshin. in WW you don't even notice that the music has looped in my experience. I've definitely preferred the music in WW so far imo. then there's BIRDS and other background sounds that actually make the setting feel real. that's been a joy for me.

-I'm not personally a lore skipper but if someone doesn't care about the story, it's fully skippable.

-Kuro has ACTUALLY been listening to community feedback and within a week they've released several updates (not just hotfixes which have also been abundant).

overall i think the game itself has had a really solid start (though it has been riddled with bugs and lacks controller support for mobile; tho that's definitely coming soon). give it a few years and i think it'll be a totally unrecognizable game to what we have today with a really engaging story to boot.

    definitely recommend.

  7. The biggest problems are for me that it's not possible to use the arrow keys to move the characters and the wheel that open with TAB closes if you stop holding it down.
I stopped to play her because now I got better ones, but the main female character is not pretty enough … her face looks weird and her hairstyle covers too much of her face.

  8. I appreciate your video Shark, as always. I also appreciate the comments section. Learning a lot here. This game has had my attention since last year. I'm way eager to give it a go. But sadly, I'm a console lad, and though confirmed, no date has been given for PS release. The combat in this games looks wicked though. I prefer timing-based inputs to Genshin's combat style. Though fun, I've always been a dodge and parry boy, going toe-to-toe with the opponent. Anyway, looks awesome, can't wait to try it myself.

P.S. I have grown tired of the term "Genshin Killer." I think it's just an overhyped and overused term. Genshin is a game with a rooted fanbase and identifiable mechanics that many people enjoy. Gacha games with anime-aesthetics and an open world don't all have to be "Genshin Killers." They are no more or less than what they are: a new anime-themed Gacha game. And no, we don't need more Gacha games; Gacha is a blight and a slimy way of squeezing money from players. But as long as the game is generous enough to let us F2P cats enjoy ourselves too, then I am more than happy to spend time with this game. The combination of exploration and combat is just too alluring for me to skip outright.

  9. I have started playing Genshin a couple of weeks after its release until now, but I have to say, I’m really enjoying WuWa.I just wish they improve WuWa’s storyline.

  10. WW combat overall is much more versatile than GI…the parry system is awesome..feel like you are playing dark souls..give it time and the game would definitely be on par with GI in the future..

  11. Thanks for this review, I've been wondering, but with limited time I wasn't in the position to play both…and with an addictive personality I don't want to overload myself.
As a button masher, not a skill player (and having a crap ping), I think I'll stick with Genshin, because I can at least get stuff done.

  12. At best, I hope it'll become a competitor for Genshin gacha system, just like (ironically) HSR is a competitor with it's banner system, so they can improve them.
As for the environment design : it's a post-apo / dying world. Well, Teyvat had a lot of civilization who went trhought apocalypse, but it was a long time ago and the world is (in appereance) stable, where solaris 3 might end at any moment.

  13. Thanks to Wuthering Waves, it made me start playing Honkai Star Rail. WuWa needs more polishing. It lacks soul and characters kinda bland. Its a good game though.

  14. Wuthering Wave is good. But is it "I'll uninstall Genshin" level of good? No, not quite there.

It has potential though. I'll wait a while to see how the game develops.
