In this video I will be doing a performance test on the Galaxy Fold 4 thats equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC. For this test I will use Genshin Impact and max out settings to stress device and test performance. I will show real-time FPS during test and then show peak temps; FPS and Power Consumption charts at the end of video.

Nice video man
Wow,u got 8k sub it's amazing!!
Nice, you keep growing. Slowly, but atleast growing. You're close to 10k
Wouldn't wanna game on a plastic screen that can scratch up easily
But the phone's price🤐
Been waiting on this one! Thank you for uploading brother! Stay safe and blessed! Also how much of a battery percentage drop did you experience during this gaming session?
This is making me regret my S22 purchase as someone who plays Genshin Impact haha. The latest Snapdragon chipset for the new foldables seems to fix most of the stability issues presented by the original Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SOC.
Amazing reviews
850×640 , 11W , 55 fps .
Smells like bullshit…
So samsung main benefit from the fold 3 to the 4… wasn't because of Samsung lol
As usual, top quality content and reviews! Surprised your not at 20k subs yet. Your content is amazing.
😍😍
Found out the Z Fold4 has the same vapour chamber cooling system as the S22 Ultra (from a korean video), which looks to be very decent at handling the 11watt power draw. This goes to show (not scientifically) how inefficient the 8 Gen 1 was in the Ultra.
How is battery?
For those wondering how I got such high fps average results; I didn’t install any game plugins, but instead I used the factory settings the device comes with out of the box. The only thing I did do was disable GOS which can be done through the settings. When you install the game boast plug-in from the galaxy store it does increase in-game res and therefore, fps results will be lower. With increased res and game boaster plugin installed, I averaged around 50 fps after ten minutes of gaming with gos off.
Flip 4 test pls
Interesting. So basically from what I get from your video and goldenreviewer's is that installing game plug in and increasing the resolution makes the game heavier, thus slower performance (thermal throttle). Which makes sense.
In conclusion for best experience:
-turn on "alternate game performance" to disable GOS
-Those without game plugin: use higher in-game render setting.
-Those with game plugin: use lower in-game render setting.
I'm on the side that is using game plugin and I can confirm even with low/medium render. The game still looks nice and sharp. So I'll probably go lowering some settings and enjoy more stable experience.
Ipad pro y ipad air 5 m1 tower of fantasy plis :)💙
So does it beat the iPhone 13pro max
Que completa locura lo corre perfectamente hasta mejor que el s22 ultra
Why HDR thou…🚶♂️🚶♂️😂😂😂😂
Check sumeru region fps also dips alot there
Nice performance
My graphics settings on Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1:
Render Resolution: Medium
Shadow Quality: Medium
Visual Effects: High
SFX Quality: Medium
Environment Detail: High
FPS: 60
Motion Blur: Off
Bloom: On
Anti-Aliasing: TAA
Crowd Density: High
Co-op Teammate Effects: On
This fold 4 is camera and optimization upgrade
Not hardware upgrade
My friend please review ROG PHONE 6D for genshin
Nah the iPad pro M1 still beats the pants off this inferior device. Lol
It performed much better than the S22 Ultra and even performed on par with the iPhone
The S22 Ultra even dropped to 36fps
In addition, I saw the camera of this phone and it is excellent
Except for zoom, there is really nothing missing from the S22 Ultra
In my opinion, the main flagship of Samsung is actually the Z Fold 4, not the S22 Ultra
very good test, keep up man
How do switch off gos from settings? Please guide..
Tf this team💀
Turning on the alternate game management definitely had a PROFOUND effect on the general responsiveness in Azur Lane. Wow. And it's not even that heavy of a game.
I'm loving the large screen area
