  2. If you take it like a new cool gamemode where u can use non meta chararcters you like and end it it might be better than you think, the end game component is bad tho

  3. This game mode is totally messed up. I have five C6 5-star characters and a bunch of 5-stars and 4-stars. I’ve spent a lot of money on this game and can clear every abyss with ease. But seriously, I still don’t have enough characters above level 70 with the right elements. Imagine how hard it is for an average F2P player.

  4. I think the biggest offense is that all those characters that you "had" to build (if you don't have them already built) can only be played TWICE in that whole challenge. It's fine if you can swap artifact mid challenge, but nope, everyone has to have their unique artifact sets locked in at the start until you finish the whole challenge.

Most players already cannot clear floor 12, if you build vertically and a bit horizontally you can clear both abyss and theatre, if you are casual and build horizontally you can clear imaginarium, its a good mode for casuals that needs less team restrictions. Please stop asking for difficulty in this kinda content, difficulty depends on grinding gear for years or whale status, no pull rewards should require those things, if anything that kinda content should only give building materials

  6. I am playing for 80 days.. I completed it.. I lvl up more lvl 70 characters and make them fodder and I borrowed xianyun c6 from one of my friends 😜 and my arliccino saved my ass

  7. I liked it a lot. I’m a newish player who plays every day, so I’m probably a minorty in the player base. Not a casual, but not a hardcore yet?

    I guess I fall into the perfect place where my account isn’t that built for the new mode to be a breeze yet, while having enough characters to at least attempt the hard difficulty. Though hard difficulty was a real struggle for me. I enjoyed replaying the mode on medium a couple of times. 😁

I’m having a hard time only because when I started I didn’t read it fully and said let’s bring furina, yomiya, Kokomi, raiden, and a couple more characters that were mostly hydro imagine my shock to only be able to use my yomiya and raiden. That one was on me I can admit that but my account is a hydro with a dash of electro, pyro, and geo I have no built pyro unit other than my yoymia my raiden is meant to be a sub dps so without a good dps I folded and I have no anemo characters built other then Jean from when I started playing she’s lvl 30 with purple artifacts. Sorry for the rant but if it wasn’t for the elemental restrictions I might have been fine but now I just don’t feel like playing this because it would take me a while just to farm for four characters to build. hope those who are having a hard time with it are able to surpass it.

Same thing started happening in star rail and I’m furious as well hoyo is trying to keep going this route, I already gave them my feedback imaginarium theater is not even endgame it’s a worse spiral abyss of resin, as this game mode has no place in f2p and p2w since neither side find it amusing I only played one time I’m waiting if hoyo hopefully changes something before it’s season ends this game mode is so bad

  10. why are you so obsessed with difficulty? It is fine. Easy, fast,no stress.
    Honestly im against "endgame" as a concept, because it always means something repeatable.
    But if is easy enough to just deal with it and take prizes, i call it good.

  11. I am a card games enjoyer for context I have 740 hours in master duel and I have to say I hate genius invocations tcg and I hate how they are trying to force feed it to us, the system isn't to my liking the card game just feels meh to me.

  12. I thought the theater was supposed to be a friend based gamemode…

    Hear me out. During the original trailer, I could just be remembering wrong, but they have a decent amount of importance to your friends characters and the trial characters, before not long after adding a new way to find friends with a new system on their site, conveniently with some focus on showing off your 3 best characters…almost as if it was a feature intended to help you find a bunch of friends for the upcoming theater

    But all I keep hearing about the theater is that even using your friends characters can't save it

    The way it was looking to me, it seemed to be a gamemode that was meant to encourage people to actually have friends in the game, and allowed you, even if you had nobody built, to still at least attempt it by grabbing your friends characters. But what *could* have been a really good incentive to find and use friends, just ended up being…nothing, apparently.

  13. I dont Agree with you!! 😐😠 I love this game mode its such a fun little thing for me personaly bcs I love to play Random different character And I hate to invest only in one bcs its Meta.. (I hate word "Meta" overall) I play thus game only for a year I am lets say small whale bcs I dont go over C0 and I dont even spend for weapons mostly… So I have so many different characters I wanna play but abyss is such nonsense for me bcs its all goes for 1 or 2 strong Dps and you are done.. The thing I hate about abyss is that you dont need to care about building all characters you own and I hate it… I love all characters Equaly and I wanna play all of them… Except few very.. very weird ones… (cough Dori etc. ) and I like Imaginarium for the diversity and Randomnes 😂😂😂 its sooo fun to use 4 dps or all supports teams bcs Randomnes 😂😂😂.. I just want to say that Imaginarium is Fun bcs its so random and easy to win.. What I hate aboht it its how short it is and how long You need to wait for reset 😢

  14. I think Imaginarium Theater is exactly the kind of endgame I was wanting. Something that isn't just a dps check but rather something that tests your team building skills and reactions skills. Don't have the perfect team for this challenge? You gotta deal with it and make it work the best you can. It forces you to go back and play the game like you did at the start. Relying solely on the reactions. Need to apply pyro? Pull out Amber and shoot the enemy then overload it with Lisa for maximum damage. That's what it used to be like and is what this game mode is shooting for. I imagine this is why they added a bunch of QoL features for newer players, so that they had a fighting chance at playing this mode. It isn't specifically meant for new players, but it should be easier to get into than Spiral Abyss because the investment per character isn't as high and most newer players tend to invest horizontally rather than vertically anyways.
    When Hoyo said they weren't making any more endgame LIKE Spiral Abyss, they meant it and it really shows in Imaginarium Theater. It's not like abyss, it's not for people who hyper invest in to a few characters, that's who abyss is for. This is for people like me who don't enjoy hyper investing but still have many characters built and need a reason to use ALL of them.
    Also I'd like to point out that this is indeed an endgame mode. It's a mode that taps into a space that hasn't been tapped into previously. Horizontal investment. If current vertical investment players are struggling then, this may sound a bit harsh but, just get better. I don't mean in the sense of skill, but a better account. This is just a new meta and you have to adapt to it. I'm sure there are people out there who struggle with abyss but have a easy time in IT but also vice versa. Once again, this is an ENDGAME mode. It's supposed to push you to your limits. It's not supposed to be easy. Abyss pushes you to your limits in vertical investment. IT pushes you to your limits in horizontal investment. All of the hyper investing vertical investors are struggling because their account is not as good as they thought it was. Gotta get back to work. You all wanted something to do right? Well now you have something! Build your non-built characters! Change things up a little. This honestly should be a lot easier and less taxing than before because you aren't trying to get the PERFECT stats, just ones that are serviceable. Then you can move on to another character.
    Imaginarium Theater IS what everyone has been asking for but no one even realizes it. Everyone wanted a new mode that's different from abyss. We got it. Everyone wanted a reason to use more than just a few characters. We got it. Everyone wanted something new to grind for, a new goal. We got it.

    Sorry for getting so worked up over this but it just has been building up. Seeing so many people trash on what I think is a great endgame mode, has really bothered me. And yes I know it's not perfect, but it has the potential to be really good. My biggest complaint is that it's too short. (I wish it was something that took multiple days to complete the whole thing.) It's already getting something new in 4.8 so we know the devs aren't just gonna let it sit and die.

    you can't complain the enemies are p15s easy and then also complain about having to build "nonsense" teams.
    the challenge is adapting to what circumstances are thrown at you – i don't understand what you want – a harder end-game, but then complain because it's too complicated ??

    you said it yourself, HYV said they were targetting casual players, so why does it matter what they release if it's not to your "try hard"-ity ?? play something else !

  16. that inazuma evnt u were talking about i was ar60 it was not hard but really fun to play at that time specially because i had been 2 years since content that engaging for me was madew i dont remmber the name of that 2year ago event but bro that was fun i played that inazuma one multiple times honestly that would do as a endgame , i hate to see u dislike mihiyo for this bro i havbe got use to it i have accepted its like talking to a rock nothing good will come out crying over that chinese company , i would support people on bycott the game in heart beat but those fucking 10 year old genshin minority have made this game worts by whiteknighting every meaning full criticism on this shit company ,,,,,,,,, accept the fact mihiyo cant do anyting right they have dog shit managment , nothing to lose bacause of genshin chills , i have not even spend that much in genshin a boy i reget it so much , just play wuwa or any other game where u r respected and not treated like prostitude have slef respect

  17. I'm enjoying it because all my efforts of building characters have come to use. Characters in the closet used again. I have 3 accounts. First it was hard then it got easier and easier. Just pick the card where u can get additional rosters.

    But don't force urself if u find it hard. Coz no one cares.

  18. I love the kind of rogue-like game play SU from Star Rail and I have reach high levels of these game modes out of all my friends who havw also been playing since day one. As one who joined during Xiao's first ever banner and I played every day and still when I tried it I got to like the first boss stage and was meet with a wall simply cause I didn't known that the 2nd half was basically a crowd control check. Which you know nothing to be too mad about so I restarted and added Venti to makw it easier to have some crowd control. Then as i was running it i got screwed heavily RNG wise with bad character pick ups with me running out of usable team characters and comps by the time I finished the first boss. While the crowd control check happend i can to use the one roll back in order to get a second go at character selection since at this point none of my cc characters where available to me. However as I went through I completely ran out of usable characters that could be able to clear the second boss in a reasonable amount of time. I was angry I had unlike many of my abyss tall building friends had actually gone wide for my whole time playing. I built many characters I found fun and played many to get their cards. However I found myself struggling in this game mode and not having as much fun as I could have since I was forced to use up all my good team comp ideas or vaguely good ones before I could even tackle the bosses.

    Thou to be honest I thought to myself that maybe it was becuase even if I build many characters I simply didnt do it right. It hurt to think but evwn I could understand how even if I could play all day I didnt simply due to my own mental stamina to actually play games. When i look to see how others where also struggling I felt mad at the fact that there was so much anticipation only for this to flop in such different but meaningful ways. I tried to see if their was any believable (at least to me) positive review on the game mode since I thought that seeing everyone's anger at the mode might have been affecting my judgement a lot so I found your first thoughts video. I greatly appreciate it really and it allowed me to look pass the anger that arose from other people's own frustrations to see what I had problems with it.

    I totally agree that this game mode is trying to do too many things at once. In doing so it made itself into a mess of a mode that caused confusion and frustration in everyone from f2p casuals to even the experience whales. Its disheartening since it had so much potential to be great. I love the whole story part the place has and the fact we get to hear more lines from our favorite characters is great! (Us shippers and fanfiction writers love these kinds of things too add to our headcannons) The gameplay of it thou crashes heavily with its usual style tho and has made even reaching these lines a chore which I hate.

  19. Well, I have more than enough characters… still, in that monolith room I fail. Every. Single. Time. I made three out of nice levels – those pretty easy to be fair, but the forth room with the monolith… nah. Way too hard. I never even managed to finish the room in time before it got down to 0%. Something's wrong.

Honestly I like the game mode in concept, but to me there are some things in the execution that makes it so unbearable, for example the two vigor per character mechanic to me is one of the worst combat mechanics ever, and it be one thing if that if they were to counterbalance it was something like "oh this character will take a break for (x) amount of matches," or get rid of the need for 4 members, but this kind of design Harkens back to something I said a long time ago: "Hoyo's designs are simultaneously creative and frustrating at the same time, and I'm tired of it."

  22. 2:04 not even whale builds tbh even the "hardest" chambers in this mode got trivialized by any of my c0r0 characters with a decent build so it wasn't even challenging in that regard just tedious because I didn't have half of the characters needed to play hard mode built

  23. it’s just dumb and disappointing, imagine rerolling for gruper in monolith defence, it’s not even hard it’s annoying, the teams you end up with are not even real teams and yes if you don’t have enought characters your cooked ( wtf is up with must have all 4 characters) imagine if hydro was there there is like only 3 4 stars characters in that element Barbara xingqiu Candice , and most people have only xingqiu build and rest are 5 stars you not ony need decent build characters but a lot of build characters and even if I don’t have problem with that people who are not playing since beginning are cooked again , and any f2p with not so much 5 stars. In my opinion this can’t be called endgame, even abyss is less luck and more skill dependent, and that is saying something. Plus what the fu*k is with elemental rasizm like this game is about reactions what’s the point of excluding half the reactions every month. Plus the audience of this bs of a endgame content just got halfed from people who can even 36 star abyss. Some people enjoy minmaxing that’s their main way of enjoying the game it was enought so far but now if they want to clear all endgame they can’t anymore and that’s why it sucks. Plus players build mostly for meta or characters they like and for this sh*t you need to pull even more and for characters you might not even like or that are not even that good like tf is that , that’s not even endgame that’s just a greasy greedy money grab with lowering abyss reset.

  24. i wasn't able to finish hard mode, ran out of good characters with synergy and was obligated to use 3 DPS and faruzan and couldn't complete the round, i wish they either added More stamina for characters or changed/improved how you get characters. Honestly think this gamemode would be better as a full endless random rounds with no stamina cranking up the difficulty until you lose. Maybe you can't use characters consecutively but after 2 rounds you get to use them again

    Having 3 different DPS characters depend on the same supports is not fun, you then end up having a team with no synergy which is lame

  25. Same for me. I love the music, the world. THE characters, team building and synergies. Elemental reactions but there is no hope for a decent challenge besides Abyss and they took one more reset from us. For that goofy force use shitty teams and characters mode. That everyone can clear blindfolded. In all my Surveys I Write World level 10! We want lvl 120 opponents and kill them in an arena. Not bosses with a gimmick that is no where else to be found.
