Aloy’s a crossover character added to Genshin Impact thanks to the Horizon Zero Dawn collab. She will be a free 5-star Cryo bow user who Enviosity believes “Rust” may be a very suitable F2P weapon for Aloy. Hopefully miHoYo allows Aloy to have constellations in the future going off of their Q & A post listed below.

  2. I mean she IS free………and the only other free character we ever got was Aether and Lumine……..and they aren't the greatest so i guess this was just there way of making her "not great" with them 030

I think she'll get constellations in 2.2 when it releases to all platforms…however it will be through a banner you will have to pull for which is how they'll make money off the character…cause quite frankly i don't see Mihoyo not monetizing cameo characters…they don't in Honkai where they do something similar where you can get the cameo character in game, though rather than giving for free immediately via mail they give them as rewards for progressing/completing events and then have a banner for said character to get dupes to rank them up to make them stronger. It's likely gonna work the exact same with Alloy and any other cameo characters added to Genshin cause they're more likely than not being put in to make money, not out of the kindness of Mihoyo's heart…and let me be clear they will want to and may have no choice but to monetize the cameo characters for the simple fact that to get said character in they will need t either outright pay a lump sum for the licensing fee or make a deal wear the character's IP holder gain's a % of the total cash that said character's cameo appearance would make in the game…so say Mihoyo and Sony have a deal where Sony gets 30% of all of sales for the, likely, Alloy banner and Mihoyo makes 1 Mil from the banner (likely higher, just using 1 Mil as an example number as mutliple of 10s/100s are easy to break down in %s), Sony would then get 300K of said 1 Mil as that'd be 30% of the total earnings….and let's be clear Sony is making money off of this cameo from Mihoyo in one way or another in either this way or the lump sum method i also mention (where Sony would say Mihoyo has to pay them say 10 Mil to use Alloy…and this price is likely closer to the amount Sony would demand for a high selling IP like Horizon to make an appearance in a game if they were to go for a lump sum approach….though they'd likely go the other % approach as it has the possibility of making them far more money and Genshin has already shown it can easily make 10s of millions in a single banner….and billions in a single month (granted not sure how much they're making in more recent banners though) which is also why i think Alloy's constellations will be locked behind a banner).

  38. I think they will wait to release her on all the platforms, then make an event for everyone in the same time (presumably on 2.2) I think it's possible that way

  39. Though the main characters journey isn't really about saving the world… even if it might end up to be in the end… so Aloys lines would have been out of place spoken by the traveler IMO. 🙃
