If the free skin selector includes the 5-stars characters (not diluc), the people who already bought them are going to be pissed. 😅

Mihoyo is based in Singapore so they don’t have to follow all of chinas laws, so it will only affect Chinese servers

No. Those gacha changes will highly likely to happen only in China/Chinese server. There's an issue in China that some kids spends alot of money on the game outside their parents notice which became a huge concern for many chinese parents. I have heard of this issue back when I was in China but I guess this problem now takes into a new level that the government had no choice but to address this issue.
