In this video, I will show you the location for all Treasure Chests in Liyue (excluding The Chasm). You may have up to 1148 counts in your Achievement, but it’s not guaranteed, and in the video I explain why and how this can happen.

In summary, in this video, only 1131 chests are counted in the Achievement counter, and there are 22 chests counted towards Mondstadt. In earlier versions, various types of chests were not counted into the Achievement, and this issue was never fixed. There exist a few chests that do not increase the counter in any regions neither. Additionally, 17 chests were counted in previous events, 15 from the Lantern Rite event (in Version 1.3), and 2 from Shadow of the Ancients event (in Version 2.2); leading to a total of 1148, but if you missed the events, they are gone forever.

"If you are missing 1-3 chests after going through the guide, make sure to check the ambers (chest 765-775, 5:21:30) every day. It took me 7 days to find every amber chest, so if you are the kind to lose 50/50 all the time I suggest you spend up to 2 weeks checking the ambers."

"If someone still missing 1-3 chests, please note:
1. Chests 487 and 488 are random and appear only with the big boat, not with the small one.
2. The location of chest 542 depends on your answers: you’ll either have to fight lawachurl, and the chest appear nearby afterwards, or you’ll get no fight. Instead, the next beacon will appear on the small island in the middle of the lake. Activate it, and the chest will spawn.
3. Chest 547 is either random or you have to kill the foxes first, then approach them again after respawning (it’s how it finally worked for me)."

I've watched this video twice without skipping. I only have 1130 chests (Still missing 3 chests) I've been trying to break the ambers every day for a month now. I really can't figure it out. Where did I go wrong. Do I still have a chance to find it? Any advice?

I found no new chests on my map except I am missing some I am at 1145 chests while I have been playing since the start of the game, I have not missed any events
In Mondstatd I am at 523 chests

Currently, I have 1,140 chests in Liyue. Watching the beginning of the video, I am quite sure I got the 15 chests from the first Lantern Rite and the 2 chests from the Shadows of the Ancients events. Having gotten my last 2 chests in Mondstadt thanks to its respective video of yours, I am at 520 chests there, so hopefully none are bugged as I did the bulk of my chest hunting at least a few versions after 1.1 when I created the account. I will note that I might start with #1,099 onwards as those are all the "newer" chests, so I can count those out right away before getting to the ridiculous amount in the main sections (not your fault, just the game's lol).
#1-#54 checked, already got.
Well the common chest from the seelie after #1,098 but before #1,099 doesn't count (didn't play the video's audio when I collected it lol) but I was missing it anyway… At least I got some extra goodies???

#1,107 One challenge for an exquisite chest that was missed as well.

All the ones I didn't mark as collected above from that uncounted seelie chest to #1,121 I checked and had already, so I shall update what I checked from #55 to that uncounted seelie chest since I am 99.99% sure I collected each luxurious chest from all 10 Shrine of Depths.
