You are right. Most new characters nowadays don’t add much. I hope there was characters with special talents like transforming to a dragon or bike like honkai but no creativity in sumeru region

Wanderer vs cyno please.
His playstyle and DMG is equivalent to Keqing but Keqing has low burst cost and advantage of swirl.
In higher constellation he may outperform Keqing but in c0 he seems not much compelling
Like you said I don’t have any dendro except Dendro mc, (Yaoyao and collei are not levelled up) so is alhaitham good enough to pull now or should I wait for Nahida who will mostly come back in 3.6? I have raiden and am planning on getting xingqiu in the lantern rite and Yelan is also getting a rerun so is she a better damage dealer?
Well Tighnari vs Alhaitheim is like Ganryu vs Ayaka. Besides making a dendro character stronger than Nahida right now will not make any sense. It is just a question of preference. In my opinion, Alhaitaim is a good addition
Besides he looks so badass and fun to play, sadly he is so weak in C0 without his weapon… No matter how much u invest on him, he will be still weaker than a low invested Nahida or med invested Tighnari. Anyway, the fun is the most important thing in the game, so if u like him, prefer his playstyle, then do not miss him.
I have neither Nahida nor Tighnari, pulled Alhaitham yesterday and was completely blown away by how hard he hits. Currently lv80, 8/8/8 talents, R5 Toukabou Shigure (Umbrella), C0 on a 2pc Deepwood and 2pc Gilded, so not even that well built, but he absolutely SHREDS. Plus he's very satisfying and fun to play imo.
If they don't nerf him everyone go for Alhaitham.

actually all sumeru char need special comp to work out, char kinda weak when they stand alone except scaramouche(maybe coz she not from sumeru), i think this will be same with deyna
actually i find it interesting, that 5* dps from each region need their archon support
mondstat dps is kinda lack with aoe so there is archon who can do crowd control
liyue dps kinda kinda need some protection so there archon who can do shielder
inazuma dps mostly have high ER, so there archon who can refill ER
sumeru dps kinda lack with amplifier, so there is archon who can do amplifier

I swear content creators that makes money because of genshin are dishonest with players.
He is only the best as a flexible slot in hyperbloom best team variation (nahida-yelan-kuki). Otherwise he is at the level of tighnari and cyno, even worse when burst miss or he is not being played properly(which is likely to occur because he is more advanced to play in comparisson to a lot of chars)
I personally think he’s broken at c0. I think everyone just didn’t test him out properly. I use Nahida raiden and xinqiu and he performs great. Like you can just use his burst then wait till he lose his third stack then use his skill to get his third stack back and then boom he has 100 percent uptime but i hate that male DPS are so underwhelming and they do it on purpose. I will Stan by the fact that no male dps will ever touch Ayaka or raiden shogun, never.
Just gonna say my alhaitham lv 70 talents 1 1 1 can clear abyss so just pick which character you like. This game is childs play.
What if, just hear me out, you PLAY HAITHAM WITH NAHIDA FOR HYPERBLOOM/QUICKBLOOM
I have both Nahida and Tighnari. They're good and Al Haitham is good as well. I feel like Al Haitham is made for the ones who are good at doing specific rotations and are good at timing those rotations quickly and efficiently. You can't really do a Unga bunga with him. So I would say pull for Al Haitham if you're willing to be open to that, besides him being cool, a husbando or any other reason. For me, I am open to it, however it will take practice to get used to mastering him, and im also focusing on Yelan, so it will be in his rerun that I might consider pulling for him.

I think it's worth pulling but only in a re run , at that point it may get a better banner that won't give you some 4* that are decently good on just some teams, and more sets or characters that go excellent with him on a team

In my question , why does a player wish for a character at all once he clears abyss??
I can clear abyss with Traveller Barbara/Kokomi Kuki Kazuha Hyperbloom one side
and Childe Xiangling Bennet Sucrose on the other side.
If i can clear those , then why in the heck would i even need Nahida or any other character.
In that you people have been wasting your primogems for last 2 years😂.
Why should i go for Hu tao and waste my primos when i already have Xiangling who does more dmg than her.
Why should i go for Yelan and waste my primos if i don't even use Xingqiu.
Why should i go for Ayaka when my Rosaria does the job easily for my freeze teams.
Answer for all of the above is – Because you either like the character or their gameplay mechanics.
I bet he will be in Tier A in Usagi sensei's main DPS tier list. Tier A is good but not as good as tier S (currently Shogun, Ayaka, Hu Tao). in the end, we still choose whatever we like/want to play. For F2P though who wants better results, this video should give you your answer. thumbs up.
