I was NOT prepared for Navia and Xiangling to make an appearance. I was expecting that to be like a mini side story.

I think Mona may have been an ordinary human once, but when she died or was critically injured and L-1 couldn't save her, he gave her over to Zandik who turned mona into a synthetic which would link into one of her previous lines in episode 3 "After you and Zandik took everything from me?"
Also in the shot where Guoba is cooking L-1 am I seeing a geo symbol on Guoba's back?
