Hi everyone, today we’ll do a recap on 5.2 Interlude Archon Quest and also add theories from the previous version’s Archon Quest as well. I love everything about the current story so far but at the same time it left me with even more questions and a lot of overthinking lmao. With that said, I am dragging all of you with me and leave you overthink as well. Have fun and thank you as always!

I outdid myself with the thumbnail and copium lmao. Anyways, corrections etc are here and will be updated time to time:
-Correction to HSR Solar System to Universe. I think to myself again that HSR has its own set of universe and they continuously change worlds and galaxies depending on the story.
–16:49 Records of Jueyun AND Moonlit Bamboo Forest. The content however is still the same, I just got mixed with the book's name because both books mention the Three Moon Sisters tale. The Records of Jueyun is in Volume 4 if you want to read it :))
-After looking through some comments, Imaginary Tree is not a multiverse but one huge universe, and is supported by Acheron mention she sees multiple expies of the same people during her journey. It's one of those things from the poor translations and I only look through the official English localization from Honkai Impact 3rd so it can get very confusing. Now that I think of, it make sense now why a Memokeeper and Sparkle can walk to the HI3 universe (and apparently it's not just a collab, but become a canon lore). It is a translation issue bassically but you may or may not take that with a grain of salt, it's up to you. I do however read something on the lines of Imaginary Tree is a huge universe according to Intelligensia Guild's records, but they only state it as a theory. We'll probably get more confirmation of this once Amphoreus is released since Cyrene may or may not be the same Elysia.
-Apparently ZZZ is not part of the tree according to the interviews but it's still funny ToT is part of it 🤣
after watching minslief video i was thinking that Progress in honkai impact was what the honkai came for so it is possible that the heavenly principles are protecting teyvat be hindering the progress i know i know VERY far fetched
@10:38 – Matthew 13:24-30 (The Parable of the Weeds)
@32:00 – Look for Sunday’s Collected Miscellany and listen closely to the music throughout.
The story of people suffering from PTSD touched me deeply and I was very worried about them. For them, the war is still going on and it is very scary. War never changes.
i was watching a pre-columbian history video and in coloumbia there is some "el captain" fish that had me thinking about the captain
12:45 why do you think the Abyss is part of Teyvat? Or rather, that it's a natural part of Teyvat and not an alien presence in the same way the Human Realm is?
31:01 I think somewhere it actually uses the word "planet" and not just "world", in Genshin text. I can't remember where off-hand.
You know the "Aeon" stuff in Genshin predates the creation of HSR as a game, right? There's no need to reference HSR at all for your theory. From a web page on Gnosticism:
"The notion of the pair or "syzygy" is central to Valentinian thought. The term refers to the linking together of complementary qualities ("Aeons") of to form a state of wholeness (pleroma). This is the highest level of reality. The halves of a syzygy are often referred to as male and female."
Aether and Lumine are Aeons forming a Syzygy. They represent opposite sexes, opposite astronomic things (star and moon) they like opposite seasons (summer and winter) and like opposite slimes. They are a pair that is both complimentary and similar. The word "Syzygy" is also found in the game text in the description of the Spiral Abyss. As you know Gnosticism has been mentioned by Devs as a source of some game inspiration. The term "Aeon" in in Gnosticism.
Want more? The boss monster which is like a flying robot dragon is called an "Aeonblight", so the word "Aeon" is also in game text.
There's more that can be said but you get the idea. "Aeon" precedes HSR in Genshin and it has a separate meaning from in HSR but it's a related meaning. It means a semblance or emanance of god, one part of a pair. And the lore of the origins of the Twins makes them out to be essentially god-like in many respect. They come from the same planet as the PO does. They're probably one of the heirs to the heavenly kingdom in the Gnostic Chorus. They are predicted to be going to "ascend". Traveler is described as a monster that could swallow the world. They are a Descender with the will to dominate and manipulate Teyvat. and so on. Now these god-like attributes may well be similar to how HSR sees Aeons but since I've never played HSR I don't know. I don't think they have a concept of the Syzygy pair of Aeons, but I don't know.
I dont want to excuse Celestia's actions but its literaly so clear that it is another "Och Kan" situation, they are seen as tyrant but they are in fact protecting Teyvat at ALL cost. They brought Humans here, the final bastion of Civilization.
Have you read the Wings of Delicacies Lorre yet cause this Lore literaly reveal and explains so much from Paimon to Primordial One to The twins to Alice or perhaps Victoria ? There is bigger threats outside and they created the firmament out of their eggshellto protect Teeyvat from it (Abyss, Eons etc)
Muscle Venti: "You know who else had their name written backwards in ancient records found in what was an ancient section of Inazuma?"
Imagine if when we eventually meet Alice she turns out to be the Unknown God and cheerfully waves at us while throwing confetti and holding up a sign that says "CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'VE FOUND ME."
It was already confirmed that Genshin takes place in Star Rail's distant past.
That new Herta Trailer that just dropped has me thinking Hexenzirkel so much
Didn't the moon sisters and the seelies(angels) exist before the arrival of the PO? The PO didn't create them.
21:21 There is nothing to hide. The fake sky is protection. It's the border of Teyvat that protects humans from the outside world such as abyss.
Maybe, Liben is the missing 10th harbinger 😱
29:56 if every time Genshin lore theorists starts their connection to genshin from fan made material on hoyo fair – someone give me one dollar, wheb i would have 22 dollars. Its not a lot, but strange what it continues to happens
there's a few reason why capitano's decaying face was not shown.
1) Chinese regualtions rpevents showing corpses and skeletons on screen
2) no point showing a scary face that might disappoint some, the scariest thing is what the mind conjures.
Can't wait for 5.3. Will the Human Archon concede to the price of Death, will the Immortal "Captain" find peace and fight against the unfair rule of death, can the Abyss be driven back from Natlan and can Natlan be broken from a cycle of war? all will be revealed in 1 month ish
Interraction between Memokeeper and kiana
Memokeeper said
"Honkai imapct was a place where gaze of gods doesn't fall" to kiana.
Until sparkle goes to honkai impact solar system which means aeon of elation AHA gaze on the honkai impact.
Then memokeeper has trying to find world without any path ,
It won't be very soon that genshin impact will found by memokeeper of garden of recollection.
Archon : Elements
Aeon : Path
Make sense
There is a current misconception in the community that HI3, GI and HSR exists in different multiverses but it's actually just one universe filled with imaginary energy. The imaginary tree is one giant universe and the leaves on the branch represent, one world, specifically one human civilization. So yes, Acheron, if she knows where teyvat planet is, could just travel there since emanators can pass through or manipulate imaginary energy, which energy blocks normal humans from interstellar travelling
All shall be revealed in Genshin 10.x 😂
so a few corrections on the "hoyoverse" connections.
firstly, the imaginary tree represents the universe not multiverse. its basically a concept that merges the idea of a multiverse with a normal universe. every planet in the universe is a leaf on the tree.
second, not all hoyoverse games are connected to the hoyoverse. interestingly, on launch of Zenless Zone Zero, the lead writer and developer of it said it isn't apart of the same universe like honkai impact third, honkai star rail, genshin impact, and tears of themis are.
third thing, apparently nearly every planet in the hoyoverse is sorta isolated and has a sort of barrier that stops travel to other worlds in the universe, and that can only be broken to allow travel by, either having an aeon open the way permanently, have a civilization utilize path energy from an aeon to power their ships, or be an eminator, in which all eminators can freely travel between worlds (kinda like the twins in genshin do funny enough)
one other thing to keep in mind is, in chinese, they "apparently" only have one word for "earth/world/country/planet/solar system/local stellar group/galaxy/universe/multiverse"… so translations… it can be a bit confusing. people have spent time piecing together the various explanations over the years and have more or less pieced together what the hoyoverse looks like. sadly this is one of those things where just looking at the english translations, especially from honkai impact third, or star rail on launch, will not give you great results.
for example star rail has some lines right at the start of the game on launch, where they switch between calling the same exact thing a planet, a solar system, a galaxy, and a universe, all in like the same paragraph… likely because at the time the translators had no clue what they were doing.
You know what's more crack than this crack Theory? COLUMBINA IS A HOLOVIAN
Crazy theory but could the traveler be the first aeon
Aeonblight Drake…
Honestly, I think the real cope is not accepting that Genshin is part of the Honkaiverse(yes, there are still people who refuse to accept it) and that in part 2 of Genshin the games will connect even more
To my understanding, Genshin does not take place in the same galaxy, but in the same universe, only separated by imaginary barriers
the sovereigns are most likely scions of Long the Permanence, they all have serpent bodies so far, yeah just two being Apep and Neuvillette but this correlation still works and makes sense because Neuvillette and Zhongli bear a gigantic resemblance to the humanoid descendants of Long + Long is one of the oldest Aeons and spread its descendants throughout the universe
the abyss mimics are extremely similar to the quantum Honkai beasts, in addition the concept of the abyss itself is very reminiscent of the Honkai
24:53 Correction: They helped the Primordial One, not the Heavenly Principles.
There currently isn't enough evidence that points towards the Primordial One and the Heavenly Principles being the same entity, but due to their stated behaviour in Before Sun and Moon , it seems more likely that they are, in fact, different entities. The First Descender and the Second Throne of The Heavens (Second Who Came), mainly due to the fact that BSaM states that;
“[…] From that time, our ancestors made a covenant with the Primordial One, and so entered a new age.” –"Four Hundre Years After the Held Branches";
“The Primordial One had a sacred plan for humans. As long as they were happy, it too rejoiced.” –"The Year of the Ark's Opening";
“If there was hunger, the heavens would being down food and rain. If there was poverty, the earth would bring forth its riches. If melancholy spread, the heavens would reply with their voices. The one taboo was to succumb to temptation. But the path to temptation had already been sealed.” –"The Year of Jubilee" (The heaven's "voices" could be the angels).
From these extracts we can see that the Primordial One really adored humans (which is all the more clearer in the non-shortened version), and that the only way the covenant between humanity's ancestors (and thus humanity itself) and the Primordial One were to be broken was if humanity gave into temptation, but the Primordial One/Their Shades/whomever had already sealed the "path" to temptation. Then, the "The Funerary Year" chapter of BSaM, in short, recounts how the Second Throne of The Heavens went to Teyvat and rekindled war, leading to the Heavens collapsing (possibly also related to the fall of the angels themselves), and how the ancestors of Byakuyakoku fell to, well, Byakuyakoku. Then we get;
“[…] The prayers of the people turned into lamentations, but the Primordial One and its three other shining shades could not hear.” –"The First Year of Darkness" (Istaroth, the shining shade of Time, did hear the people of Byakuyakoku. She is, by far, the most rebellious Shade too).
From this, we can gather that the once-before all-loving Primordial One and the Shades of Life, Death and Void were either too weak or too busy attending other matters, leaving Byakuyakoku's ancestors abandoned for some reason, even though, before, the “heavens would reply with thei voices” by the mere fact that humanity expressed melancholy; yet, now, the people were lamenting and nobody but the single most powerful Shade (as she exists at all times and everywhere at once) answered them.
Relatively recently, we learned that the first Two Descenders created the Gnoses together; a sort of "pact" to keep the world under control after the War of Vengeance. By this time, the ruler of Teyvat is stated to be the Heavenly Principles, and their treatment of humanity is radically different from the Primordial One's. Sal Vindagnyr got nailed for no reason, the angels were completely and utterly forsaken, and any civilization not under the rulership of a god was to be destroyed and cursed.
I personally am of the belief that the Primordial One had to give up Teyvat's rulership over to the Heavenly Principles, with the only condition to keep humanity alive and well; even though (and this one is absolutely purely headcanon) the Heavenly Principles did not care for Teyvat's life, which also meant that the Shades were to be the Heavenly Principles' servants.
