  1. The genshin community is like that weird kid that screams at the back of the seat for no reason, the community is so talented but so weird and toxic most of the times, I think it's unfair to leave a review based on just it's rewards and not the overall game itself

  2. I only commented on a random twitter account about what I thought would be nice for this anniversary, once and I was done.

I still used my primogems on the weapons banner that was leading up to the anniversary since I wanted the weapon. I think my luck has been balanced however since I lost one 50/50 but won all the others after the guaranteed, even 2 weapon banners.

Yes it took the similar 60+ to 70+ pulls so not insane luck but I am content. Yes I paid, but I managed to save since they came home earlier.

I can finally go back to waiting for reruns now since I have my eyes set on 3. It would be great if they allowed limited characters for the price of a 10 or 20 pull. I can save some and only pull 2 but I will pull their weapons possibly.

I even got the BP for the bow yesterday so yeah. The rewards aren't perfect but I have yet to complete the stories since I have been busy. I personally don't have a preference. It is good that they did something. If they implement it for CNY etc, that would be great. If not. I am still enjoying the music, scenery and boss fights XD

  3. I understand why you're doing this but please stop trying to generalize the entire community into a single stereotype. Genshin community is extremely big and ranges from working adults to literal crybabies. I don’t like the way some people in this community behaved during this fiasco but it comes with the turf so it's unavoidable. Focusing on this minority will only give them publicity which they don't deserve.

  4. Nah, Genshin community is already trash even before this incident taunting other gacha games communities i played quite a number of gacha games(even those i already uninstalled but didnt unfollow the the community).Whenever i read comments in some high upvote post i always see some stupid shit like "dead game you should play genshin" and "genshin made a billion dollars this game didnt even made as high so dead game" wtf they're so proud that they are giving so money to a developers that didnt even care crap about them.

  5. “I just want the community to be on the same page” huh? Isn’t that evident from this disaster? Literally everyone is up and arms against mihoyo. If that’s not a United front. I don’t know what is 🤷🏻‍♂️

  6. I think we can all agree that the best anniversary gift would be just increasing the quality of the game. New 4* quest, QOL changes, better-written stories and characters. If this was in place, people wouldn’t be so upset about not getting stuff. I feel like Mihoyo just lived in illusion that their game was in such a good state as it was, that no additional motivation for players was needed and that’s where their mistake was

  7. Google Play promptly removed the communities' low ratings over the anniversary, so the community promptly started review bombing everything.

I think this part is less about anger with Mihoyo and more about Google removing arguably legitimate reviews.

  8. I don’t care if it’s immature or childish but the shit worked in the end, it did work right? Maybe those other gaming companies got mad and, hit up Mihoyo, and told them to fix there situation cause like you said it’s embarrassing 🤭

  9. since i don't see anyone talking about it much: there are rumors that the chinese government is currently trying to force mihoyo to change the designs of some male characters they consider to be "too feminine" (venti, xingqiu, gorou etc). this is apparently some sort of new law happening in china where they're trying to ban male figures they consider too feminine in general (like j-pop/k-pop idols). what this means is that mihoyo would either have to change those characters' designs entirely, or accept to stop showing the characters in promos and ads.

since this is happening right now it would explain why mihoyo is too busy to really listen to the community and why it feels like they're ignoring us. the reason why we aren't hearing much about it is also because everyone talking out about it is being drown out by the voices of angry fans complaining about the anniversary situation. you can do your own research on the subject and come to your own conclusions, but i personally think it makes a lot more sense for them to be ignoring the current complaints bc they're too busy with something else, rather than them purposefully trying to make the community angry.

  10. Maybe I am wrong but, I remember the rewards announced long ago was 10 wishes and around 2200 primos right ? We got the wishes, and if we add the primos from from event and mail they are almost the same. Basically aside from glider, nothing have changed. Maybe it's that the web event was so bad it made us feel 24wishes is a progress, but it's literally what was announced from the first moment.

  11. I never expected much from the anniversary rewards, and to be honest, I don't really care. What really made me consider stop playing was the revolation that we won't get any more male archons. I mean, the image I got when I heard about Murata was that it was a dude. Turns out, not a dude.😳 And then there's the whole dendro archon thing where they changed the "he" into "she". Come on, really? Applause for ruining those expectations. 👏
Anyway, thanks for coming to my TedTalk and good luck wishing for the character you want.😁
And thanks, Enviosity, for giving us amazing content.👍
