Honestly this is probably the greatest archon quest intro into a region since mondstadt. Absolutely phenomenal it was so well done.

I kept switching from eng to japanese for the voices cause I love childe’s japanese va, but I also wanted to hear neuvillette in the eng ver. Looks like I can’t do that in the second part
my theory is that we will work with the fatui from fontaine like lyney lynette and aprichinno (i cant spell it correctly so don’t mind) and our goals is to save fontaine.

This quest was one of my favorites. I loved how we became detectives and had to defend lyney and Lynette. It was so much fun

lmao i ended up teleporitng myself to the teleport waypoint near fontaine directly, i didnt even see that we had to start from caravan ribat. I teleported directly, and it suddenly started that cutscene, and then i went to fontaine. I totally missed dehya's farewell.

The hilarious part was that I unlocked the Fontaine waypoints and completed that collection event before I realized I needed to actually go to Caravan Ribat first to officially start the Archon Quest.

This gave Danganrompa/Rain Code vibes and I like it. Furina reminds me of the Peacekeepers in Rain Code. except she's nicer just because she allows them to have a trial to defend themselves.

I like how fontaine has less filler in its Archon quest. I sadly can't say the same for many of the other regions (except Sumeru)

The double standards I can’t! When traveller heard that Lyney and Lynette are potentially Fatui they literally went to “no trust mode whatever you say” even when the twins had acted genuinely and honestly, while when we meet Childe we are like “hey buddy wha up”. Like sooner or later travellers have to learn that some Fatui are just human and they need a job to survive. This is a very ooc moment for traveller as they have seen so many good Fatui members in the world quests. They also should have been travelling among many planets and met millions of ppl and encountered so many incidents. They should have seen it all. And this moment to me just shows that traveller’s previous alleged experience was useless or even non-existent. I hope this archon quest would change traveller’s attitude at the very least. Or I’m actually gonna have some complaints for the writing team.

This first part of the ARCHON QUEST was basically BETTER CALL SAUL/DAREDEVIL/ACE ATTORNEY combined. Good fucking job, Hoyoverse.
Befor 1 act I was waiting for Neuvillete to be strictly on Furina's side in trials (dont know why, honestly), but after this trial I have so much respect for this man (at least for now, I only did 1 act, and we have more in next updates, so who knows, what will happen next). I was already aiming to pull for him but now Im considering to get him his signature. He deserves it.
I only hope, that i'll have enough primos, cause I pulled Lyney, and not skipping Neuvillete and Wrio no matter what. Gonna catch them all.
