UPDATE (7/18/24): There is video proof showing Kinich proccing Xingqiu burst, so that's great! His character options aren't as limited!

I've decided to skip c1 Navia just so I can guarantee this boi and his weapon. Ajaw really sold me on pulling for him with his 2-bit looking goofy as* 😂 Not to mention Kinich's design and weapon itself looks really cool.

I dont care how OP he is. His design is horrible and out of place. Out of every region why does a tribal person have pixel-art skills? It didnt fit with any region to begin with.

Here's to hoping he works well as the on fielder for Thoma Burgeon. Tho from the looks of it he won't be able to trigger normal attack effects.

Would he be reliant on emilie? If they work good together ill get her on her rerun but im trying to get kinich first i js hope its not a scara faruzan situation
Is the new set really the best in it? What about the other set that increases character damage by 50% if enemies are burning, doesn't it work?

I think you do want to use his burst during his skill, it doesn't add skill uptime but doesn't remove any either. This is useful since Kinich can generate soul points passively. Start with skill, shoot 1 shot to apply desolation/A1, then burst and by the time the animation is done, he should have a cannon ready. This also let's his burst benefit more from 4pc Obsidian and other buffs like Bennett.
Also, it's possible to use Xiangling without Bennett like Vape Neuv does, just give her Fav and all the ER. Unfortunately, using Xiangling isn't ideal if Burgeon is the goal. Her uber high Pyro app is gonna yield more of a BurnVape team with Furina forward vaping and rarely triggering Bloom. Really hoping Kinich can trigger NA stuff so we can run something like Kinich/Baizhu/Xingqiu/Thoma.
You didn't mention Emilie for elemental synergy on reactions… do you think it's worth to pull for her considering that she could be a good addition to Kinich team composition?

his BiS gives him 33.1% cr, and the natlan artifact gives him another 40% cr. that's like 73.1% base cr alr oml
Is kinich dmg counts as normal atk or is it a skill atk
His bis team is probably going to be bennet, emilie, xiangling or pyro archon, emilie, xiangling

I think the biggest thing will be the artifact set. No idea how hard it will be to consume 10 stacks
I don't really want more prohibitive new mechanics to just arbitrarily make older characters worse. "Not a Natlan character? I guess you'll just have to do less damage. Sowwy." Yeah that's dumb.
Pyro Archon will turn into bird and explore
If you use bennet, the bp claymore talking stick matches his design and offers crit rate with a passive that gives him extra attack stat

i have a feeling his best teams can be either with XQ/Thoma/Emilie(idk if nahida can be good as her EM buff is kinda useless for kinich.) or with Baizhu/Thoma/Furina or XQ
For his teams rn, he cant even activate his A4 passive fully cuz it needs other Natlan units. But even rn he is looking very good. Imagine when he gets a team that synergies with him lol
I really like that Kinich is a burning DPS but we're basically going to need 3 new characters to make his team.
Kinich + Emilie + Pyro Archon + Bennett or XL (whatever the archon doesn't provide).
