Design wise, she's really mid. I saw her animation and she's really mid. If in game, she's good, then I guess her usefulness will be the real factor people will pull for her.
Most of the players didn't like her design so they buffed her damage lol. A win win situation for me though

I wouldn't put her in a arle team only if you have a restricted charpool same goes for chiorie. vape and melt are just too good for arle not to have apart from this yelan and furina also have very good sup dps and both buff dmg% and you have to give up kazuha and put zhongli in there what means less pyro shred or you have no res shred for emilie herself -> less dmg -> less useful. not to mention that you want deepwood on someone else since she probably has the bruning set on her. so a additional set bonus wasted on her instead of arle or she has no burning set/deepwood -> less dmg -> less useful.

She's practically the first Natlan character since she prioritizes attack more than EM.

This is the reason why players creates toxicity upon themselves, they are so adamant to know a character even before release and decides if they are worth it, rather than finding it on your own and make your wanted character WORK, they kill the essence of having fun.
Genshin is an easy game, an adventure game. But people loses fun because of their self made toxicity. Crazy how theres many players are like that here.

Plus there have been speculation in Cn community with leaked photo that she’s just like Gaming, another Hoyo staff self Inset character, so naturally she needs to have ‘good’ stats

that attack to dmg bonus scaling on emilies A4 is really smart. removes the hard nerf that spread reactions causes but pushes her out of quicken teams by pushing her away from EM stacking
What if she was an animo character and her lantern sends out shock waves
After 3 years of playing, now I find more interest in niche team comps, especially if that niche was very strong and fun/comfy to play. So I'm excited after these buffs and I'm kinda convinced to pull for Emilie.
I also hope she will work well with Natlan characters.

I hate that mihoyo don't make the actual reaction better, bloom was already a good reaction & we got Nilou who made the reaction 10x better. Now we get Emilie a burning focused character who does … litterally nothing to burning ??? she doesn't want EM so that already a massive L for burning & she doesn't buff the actual reaction in any way, like come on you can't tell me with how high her multipliers are that they can't give the reaction an atk scaling or something
